I stopped watching EE for two years so have no idea where Les, Pam, Paul, Claudette, Donna and Vincent all appeared from

They expanded the local market, combining it with one that was very very local but never mentioned before.
The other market was located in only fools and horses land, and the result is that some of the people are from a sitcom.

Love it!

Digital Spy posters are blaming Mumsnet for the Ofcom complaints. Don't they read the forum?! Wink

Any complainers seriously need to get out more!

Wise words from Tellyman there who no doubt can't see the irony.

Mrsjayy · 31/07/2015 15:06

Im sure bastard isnt considered a swearword its been in E E before . Sex violence adultry all hunkydora 1 not so swearyword and folk get an attack of the vapours.

woodhill · 31/07/2015 15:09

I thought the coffin scene with Paul and Ben was in poor taste and would have still been if it was Abbie and Ben

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/07/2015 15:23

Les's speech was very moving - not !!! Agree can't be an affair but why not just say what it is

Not sure why Lola left. She had a job jay and family here

OP posts:
LittleBearPad · 31/07/2015 15:24

I don't think bastard is really a swearword nor is crap or arse. Ass definitely isn't.

Children watching Eastenders will have seen far worse things than hearing 'bastard'

Mrsjayy · 31/07/2015 15:48

Yeah if kids are watching E E then they have seen a lot worse funny how people view things differently

DieselSpillages · 31/07/2015 17:55

I hope you lot are wrong, I'm not remotely ready to see Les cavorting in Pam's purple flower dress.

southeastdweller · 31/07/2015 18:20

I agree the actor who plays Les isn't strong enough to carry off a transgender storyline. I hope the producers haven't changed their minds about casting a transgender person for the story, or couldn't find one.

MagpieCursedTea · 31/07/2015 19:07

Did that person on digital spy just lump MNers in with MailOnline commenters?!
That's far more offensive that the word bastard!

BlueThursday · 31/07/2015 21:18

How cute was Janet dancing Grin throw in GBP and I'd have been bubbling

Mrsjayy · 31/07/2015 22:12

Janet looked like she was having a ball didnt she? Soo what do we think the story will be in 3 munfs time they are all gunning for phil once jays tag comes off.

southeastdweller · 31/07/2015 22:22

I hoped Pam would have a showdown with Les or Claudette and the secret would come out tonight.

Mrsjayy · 31/07/2015 22:31

I think we have a whole week next week of it I think its to do with the death of their son les was there for Pam but nobody was there for Les

BlueThursday · 31/07/2015 22:45

3 months takes us to October which is when they said Kathy would be back...

Mrsjayy · 31/07/2015 22:51

Ah right makes sense that

MagpieCursedTea · 31/07/2015 22:53

Any chance Claudette is the transsexual? Or is Vincent definitely her bio son?
Unless she's Vincent's Dad...? And that's why she went on the lads holiday, because she used to be one of that group of lads?
Or have I forgotten something that makes that impossible and ridiculous?

BlueThursday · 31/07/2015 22:56

I wouldn't have thought so, being a foster carer back in the 80s or before I doubt that it would have been accepted back then by social work

CrapBag · 31/07/2015 23:04

I count crap and ass as mild swear words. I don't say them in front of the DCs and they wouldn't be allowed to say them. To, people who say they aren't swearing, would you honestly let your 2/3/4/5 etc year old say these words? Because I don't know anyone who would. The also wouldn't be allowed to epithelial EE anyway but thats just in my house and they are in bed before its on.

I felt very sorry for Ben when he was talking about losing his mum and getting upset about that and Phil betraying him. Sad

Abi is seriously pissing me off. She's acting like some little hard madam when she's really not.

Poor Pam as well. She's so lovely. She doesn't deserve any heartbreak.

Wait a second, the guy who plays Les is an actor, when did that happen????!?!?!?! See your point, I'll retract that comment! Grin

differentnameforthis · 01/08/2015 04:20

Well ass is a donkey, so not, it's not a swear word.

Crap..well I wouldn't be happy if my kids said it, but I wouldn't be as annoyed as if they said wanker, or fuck...

SoupDragon · 01/08/2015 07:56

You're surely thinking of arse. No way is ass in the same category as crap.
