Ooh, this thread has just reminded me I had a dirty dream about Jorah last night. Thank you subconscious!

As you were.

Trills - they are a sort of death cult though. I think on the board they won't be lining up with the good guys. And of course their words are ominous for anyone fighting the others...

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 07/06/2015 19:07

I'm hearing rumours that the finale has been leaked

OP posts:
EmeraldThief · 07/06/2015 19:20

I've just read a leaked sypnosis of tomorrow episode on IMDB. Sounds like it's going to be a good un with some epic scenes. Don't want to say too much in case I reveal any spoilers though

rallytog1 · 07/06/2015 19:31

Yep, ep9 can be watched online if you look for it. I accidentally read a spoiler from someone who's seen it and now I'm Angry

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 07/06/2015 19:49

Merkin' playse.

Oh! I don't want to hear anything about Episode 9 yet, so I will now run away!

Also, I have to Grin at those of you who fancy the big, ginger wilding guy. Every time I see him, I hear Ygritte's voice: "You haven't fooked a bear!"

EmeraldThief · 07/06/2015 19:53

There are clips and pictures from this weeks episode all over IMDB. I'd suggest staying away from there for the time being if you don't want the final two episodes ruining.

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 07/06/2015 20:11

Yes, I stand corrected, it's episode 9. I won't be even hinting at the content - annoyed it was spoiled for me!

OP posts:
Narvinectralonum · 07/06/2015 20:38

I don't think the episode is online yet, just THAT clip. And the preview for episode 10. Which doesn't address that clip (but will make some people happy, including me shallow person that I am). The episode was made available by HBO Go briefly, by mistake.

Having read the spoilers I'm hoping that all is not necessarily yet clear. There is plenty of precedent for that.

Sansarya · 07/06/2015 21:36

I got all excited to hear that episode 9 is online but I had a look at it is not ?? Oh well, I'll just have to wait til tomorrow night then and unfollow WiCNet in case they tweet spoilers!

herfrom2doorsdown · 07/06/2015 23:05

I've seen some spoilers too accidentally, I'm frustrated I wasn't looking for them.

honeyroar · 08/06/2015 03:28

I'm in the USA, just watched episode 9. I won't spoil anything, but WOW what a good one!

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 08/06/2015 08:15

Some of my American friends on Facebook are going nuts over this one.

I missed the end of the last thread - but I watched the last 15 minutes of last week's episode like Shock.

I don't think I blinked once.

As you were.

Fiderer · 08/06/2015 09:16

Thanks for all the warnings to stay away from anything spoilery - the whole internet it would seem Grin

Two things annoying me. Roose Bolton criticised his son for damaging Jaime (or allowing him to be by not instructing otherwise and/or being in control to prevent it) and Theon Greyjoy - thereby devaluing their worth as prisoners.

Has he not noticed that his psycho son has done the same with Sansa? Or does he not care that "the North remembers" because he's in charge now and Sansa 'belongs' to the Boltons?

And Dany: Seeing her with Tyrion last week, what is her plan? She wanted an army and got the Unsullied, 9000 of them was it? Her slave-freeing hasn't seemed to hold once she moves on to another city and now in Meereen the Unsullied don't seem able to defeat the Sons of the Harpy. She just seems to sit (very still) around in her big pyramid 'ruling' without it making very much difference to the inhabitants.

Narvinectralonum · 08/06/2015 09:23

Women are worth less than men in their world full stop. Wives are worth less than unmarried women because they are property. Very few men in play seem to think outside the box on that one (Tyrion to a certain extent, more in the books than on screen, Jon maybe, Rob on screen not so much in the books - him marrying Jeyne was more about his honour than hers). Dorne is of course different. It will be interesting to see, if Dany ever makes it over the sea, whether she buys the traditional Targ line (which is essentially the traditional Westerossian one) or if she is more attuned to the Dorne viewpoint.

I just hope Sansa doesn't eat her own fingers.

Fiderer · 08/06/2015 09:55

Agree, and that's what's annoying me about Dany. Perching on her throne like she's afraid to move in case she spoils her dress. And being so ineffectual, Astapor and Yunkai have slaves again.

scandip · 08/06/2015 09:59

Anyone seen the latest ep yet? I thought it was brilliant.

CitronVert · 08/06/2015 10:23

Just watched the latest ep. OMG.

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 08/06/2015 11:34

O.M.G.! That was brutal and pushed my personal squeamish button. I've watched all sorts of nasty things, including Spartacus, Hannibal, all of GOT, 18+ films but that… I think even GOT drew the line at filming and showing what happens to one character Sad I was shaking after it, possibly worse than the Red Wedding in terms of the betrayal and hurt Angry

There was a bit at the end that may cause nerdgasms amongst the book readers Grin

It was a cracking episode – things happened! I have a feeling there are a few characters we won’t be seeing now until the next series as they still have a lot to cover and there are a few main characters who’s story I would be happy to leave where it is. Not resolved but nicely rounded off until next time.

whatevermaycome · 08/06/2015 12:18

I need counselling after episode 9Confused

whatevermaycome · 08/06/2015 12:20

Probably the most horrific thing I've watched and I watched the Deep Fat Fryer episode of Spooks

honeyroar · 08/06/2015 13:15

It was a roller coaster ride. Yes one awful scene, the worst yet (the most shocking GOT scenes are the ones watching someone else's face as something happens to a different character, not the gory scenes).

God knows how they will wrap it up with episode 10. Aargh, nearly another year until the next season again, I hate that bit! Wish they'd just keep it rolling.

bendybrickpumpkinpatch · 08/06/2015 13:18

shit just read the spoiler...................................Shock

abearcalledpaddington · 08/06/2015 13:21

Wow!

Horrible bit (although i didnt think it was worse than when they killed all king Roberts bastards) but ending was amazing!
