A question another gotter asked me today. How did Jon snurr kill the walker with his sword?

Didn't he just swipe it and it exploded into ice cubes?

ohwhat the sword is made of Valyrian steel, otherwise referred to in old Westeros books as dragon steel. I wonder if Valyrian steel swords wielded by Targaryens have more power? A synergy type effect?

I imagine the swords have dragon glass in them somehow, one was called ice and the glass looks like ice?

His sword is called Longclaw isn't it? Given to him by Mormont Snr? I really REALLY want Jon to get his hands on Ice or rather "Oathkeeper" (forged and re-made from Ice), especially as it's black and red, which are the Targaryen colours.
