I didn't get to see any live tennis today, apart from the final set of Serena's match. I have to admit I'm with hugoagogo. I don't believe for a minute there was much wrong with her - she has form for gamesmanship like that. It can only be distracting and off-putting for her opponent.

Still haven't seen any tennis and didn't make it to Paris either. Though ds1 did with his uncle and he saw Djokovic play so he is a very very happy boy. Thank goodness for my brother willing to step up and take him.
Bit of a crisis here.

I heard serena was awful today she's getting slammed on Twitter for bad sportsmanship apparently. Thought ivanovic would get through but am happy to be proved wrong.
Hoping to see the semi s tomorrow and join you lovely ladies but everything's a little up in the air right now.

Serena definitely know how to play 'the game' and for some reason, so many are happy to let her. Just listening to Sam and Marion the other day when she was playing Azarenka was enough to show how desperate they are for her to win. When she played Sloane she moped around the court for over a set, barely bothering, and then suddenly switched on. I don't believe she is ill. but I am a horrible cynic

Anyone watching the semi? I love both these guys so I'm fairly neutral. Stan is looking strong though.

Hi Majestic I can't watch, but will catch up later. I think Stan will take this one, but I'd really rather Jo did.

I had to go out. Am hoping it's a close match, it ought to be. I would be happy to see either win, but given how hard Tsonga has found it to close sets and matches lately, I think Stan might have the edge.

I don't think either will beat Djok though.

This match is a good exemplar of why sports psychologists exist, I think. Stan's head isn't in it right now.

Something Rafa could really do with thinking about. Uncle Toni can't do everything.

I always felt Rafa was incredibly strong mentally. Do you think that's becoming a problem now?

Majestic- I would say it's been a problem. He has admitted himself he has been lacking in confidence. He has not performed at all well this year. I think the loss at the Aussie was the start of it, and it has progressed from there. Physically he played here as well as he did last year (according to stats), but mentally, he has definitely been struggling.
