I feel sick.

I was so engrossed I totally forgot about picking ds3 up. Looked at clock and it was 4pm - should have collected him at 3.45 . Fortunately he is very forgiving and very understanding.

Can't have Djok in 3, we just can't.

So sad I said it twice.

So deflating.

A very sad match.

He'll be back. Think a long break would be a good idea now to reset and recharge. It will take a bit to get over this I think, but it was common knowledge he wasn't at his best. He needs to regroup and try to rediscover his love of the game. He didn't look happy out there today. Not to take anything away from Djok, was a fab match with breathtaking levels of play.

Its not that people didn't want Novak to win it one day, but it would have been so wonderful to see Rafa get that #10.

Maybe next year.

No he wasn't at his best, but will he ever be again ? They're all getting older, and nearer the ends of their careers.

Maybe there comes a time and you don't want it as much, because the thee things in life matter too outside of tennis.

They both played some amazing tennis today, all credit, Novak was better. That's it.
