given recent form, things look less than great for Nadal-but he likes the big stage and slams are a different beast to other tournaments.

So- new thread to talk ( mostly) about tennis- though it's not compulsory., and we all have different favourites and respect that others might not love our favourites as much as we do.

so...a week to go. May Murray be less tired, Rafa more confident , and a happy tournament be had by all.

Morning all still haven't seen a single match (wails) I've been on childcare duty all week so have had most of my nieces and nephews here as well as my 4 all week. On the plus side my niece did call me the 'best auntie ever' yesterday, but it maybe because I'd just bought her new converse (I don't bribe children oh no )
Great matches lined up today. Am team kyrigios or however you spell that this morning.
Then naturally am team Novak later on, let's hope he wins easily
