given recent form, things look less than great for Nadal-but he likes the big stage and slams are a different beast to other tournaments.

So- new thread to talk ( mostly) about tennis- though it's not compulsory., and we all have different favourites and respect that others might not love our favourites as much as we do.

so...a week to go. May Murray be less tired, Rafa more confident , and a happy tournament be had by all.

His bark may well get deeper. Our old boy had a fantastic deep, strong bark, but he was a big boy !

It's a bit odd really- we were going to call dd2 Isaac (Ike for short) but she's a girl(duh)....so 4 years later I got my Ike. Only a hairy one.

Hairy ones are better. They love you completely unconditionally, and only want loving back, a warm bed, food & a lovely walk. No shopping. And they don't mind staying in watching the tennis.

I really like the name Judd. Don't ask me why, I just do.

I want a boy dog so I can call him Judd.

Is he your first dog ?

He is- well, as an adult. We had a batty beagle when I was very small. Dh had about 4 dogs growing up. we thought a lot about getting one- but I'm glad we have.

I think I am forgiven for the bath. Although he usually falls asleep on my feet, and is currently curled up in dh's spot!
