I stopped watching Corrie for ages, but recently caught up on demand. I absolutely can't bear Callum/Bethany/Sarah - please can they just bugger off somewhere and never, ever come back?! Wooden actors and rubbish, totally unbelievable storyline. Absolute tosh

oh, and could they please, please, pretty please take Dev and Tahlisa (sp?) with them!

If they took all the wooden actors out of Corrie there would be about 3 left.

How is Julie OK with Tulisa living there? If some random woman turned up at my house id tell her to jog on!

And where's Todd now? Did Eileen kick him out?

I so agree re the Callum / Sarah / Platts storyline. It is excruciatingly bad. And none of what any of them are doing makes sense. David boots Kylie out, then immediately starts looking for her and saying how much he wishes she'd come home. She comes back and they all treat her like dirt . Sarah takes up with a drug dealer who is wrecking her brother's life, and sits noncahalantly by while he snarls and threatens and is generally a massive shit . She is totally unfazed by him admitting he kidnapped David and roughed him up . She then bitches at Kylie for having been on drugs WHEN SHE HERSELF IS DATING THE DRUG DEALER WHO SUPPLIED HER

Just so much !

And yes most of the actors involved are terrible.

Why does Tyrone have a spare room downstairs yet not use it? Drives me positively up the blimey wall!! You would use one for kitchen/dinning room then one for living room.
Then the guy from garage goes to stay and he's upstairs in the girls room??? We know they only had their room and the girls room because they put that attic extension in. So when fizz arrives back with the invisible girls they share a room while the downstairs is empty!
Tonight excitement with the t shirts was at least abit of action.

She didn't sleep with him then thenightsky she told him nothing happened because he passed out, as far as I remember, he didn't know she was his best friends (apparently) daughter, that all came out when she arrived on the street.

Now, maybe I'm crazy but if my daughter had just lost the woman she loved and wanted to spend the rest of her life with her and was distraught with grief and also nearly lost her brother the next day would I fuck go off to London to visit my other drama llama daughter because she broke up with her bloke ..............seriously.

Viewers were led to believe she had (storyline was all about cheating on Izzy, and she was an unknown). But when she turned up on the cobbles, they had a chat (outside The Rovers) which made it clear that she'd said 'no' but still thought he was a shit, because if she'd been up for it, he would have cheated.

Did he drink to some memory loss that night? So it was only when she said they hadn't that he knew?

Lots of people back after a break, Fizz, Andrea, Lloyd, Anna, Fay. Can't say I've missed any of them. And, yes, agree about Sally flitting off to Rosie on a whim, doesn't ring true. Also, I wish actors could just have a holiday without a spurious reason to disappear. Just have scenes that they're not in. Quite simple.

Fizz sent someone outside to keep an eye on two toddlers who were asleep in the taxi. Presumably the meter was still on, so the bill would be rising. How unrealistic!

Vanishing characters, who only appear for their storylines, really annoy me. Much better when they appear, dotted round the place, and chat about what's going on. It sometimes happens with Rita and Emily in the pub. There should be more of it. Why aren't Rita's own friends supporting her through the latest incident with Jenny?

Re Rosie, did they mention why she wasn't at Maddie's funeral?

I've nearly cried laughing at some of the posts about last night's episodes, on Digital Spy.
I watched some old episodes recently, and there is no comparison in terms of acting and storylines to the drivel that goes on now. Someone said they reckon some of the actors are just coasting at this stage. I'm inclined to agree.

Good grief Doc! She was breaking up with her boyfriend! The question is why Gail wasn't running off to support her instead of her daughter who had lost her partner. (Selfish cow)
And what was all that about lloyds beard? What beard?

Oh good it wasn't just me who wondered what they meant about the beard! Did he used to have one? I can't remember.

Just been reading digital spy and it looks like curtains for the Lloyd and Andrea characters in the 'exciting' live episode in September. Hurray!

I'm just hoping Alya doesn't have an 'is she/isn't she pregnant' storyline after her one night stand with Jason. Pregnancy storylines have been never ending recently.
