Yes, Todd was getting back at everyone for his birthday. He's so angry about being left and blames them all for the fact he was beaten up and is now scarred. And his jealousy of Jason having his Dad and a happy relationship. He's a good villain. I wonder if that's the last we'll see of him.

And I agree, it was nice to hear Deirdre finally mentioned. Probably means her death will be coming up soon. They'll start mentioning her more prior to that I expect

The 8.30 episode last night was one of the better ones that's been shown recently, I thought. Poor Eileen being humiliated and left broken-hearted. I felt really sorry for her when she touched that pic of Todd (from about ten years ago when he was different) and cried .

I agree, I think Eileen is absolutely fantastic. I like Jason too. From what I can remember over the years Eileen has been nothing but a brilliant mum to Todd and Jason.

You could relate to her despair wondering how he's turned out like that.

I liked her boyfriend it's ashame he's not staying.

I was hoping Adrian would stay around, and that he and Eileen would have a good relationship. Apart from anything else, the Street needs to focus on something other than the never ending Platt saga, the dreadful, gurning Callum, and bloody Tracy shrieking and smirking, while almost everyone else glares at poor Carla.

I haven't caught up yet, but WHY can't Eileen have a happy relationship? It won't take anything away from her character because she can still be exasperated at her family, lodgers and work colleagues. It's her sarcasm, one-liners and facial expressions that make her a favourite, not the fact that she's unlucky in love.

shame about Eileen. Why didn't she quickly take Adrian to her house to pack for the weekend away before Todd had time to say anything. Surely Adrian would see it showed Todd in a bad light not Eileen.

Dear me. I've just watched the fire. We were all in hysterics. Kal and leanne just hanging around the flat for most of halls an hour and then hanging around declaring love in the balcony. Anyone with half a grain left horrible any Amy to burn and got hell out of there.

Want moved in the slightest that kal was blown apart. Haven't warmed to him or his family. Why oh why didn't they put les gandy Todd Tracy michelle sawfee jenny bethany and Sarah up there to burn? ?

Why leave maddie alive after the coach crash just to kill her now? I'm so fucking sick of another Tracey story where she has done something awful and is getting away with it.

I think that Eileen may end up with Les Dennis. He confided in her about his heart problems and she even accompanied him to the hospital, not Gail.

The original houses were 3-bedrooms with an outside lavatory.(Corriepedia) I found it a bit odd that Craig was able to get out undetected while Kirk and Beth were still up with lights on; also, even though it's an old house, none of the stairs creak. It seemed to be bright daylight outside as well.

Eileen and Les would be a massive kick in the teeth for Gail! I can't help feeling a bit sorry for Gail, who is another one who is unlucky in love. But Gail is one-dimensional and without her love-life the character wouldn't exist.

I'm sorry they killed off Kal and Maddie when there are so many more who deserve to go. Loved Beth and Kirk last night. I wish Dev would just tell Yootha Joyce he is seeing someone else.

Yes, they are pure joy! Love the idea of Beth with a book - and she is a great mother, and it is proper Corrie.
Perfect antidote to all the drossy drama elsewhere that evening.
Eileen and Les would be good and in line with the longstanding feud.
