Surely for all they know she could've snuck in after he'd passed out because the pneumonia was killing him anyway & injected him with the heroin overdose. Dying of an overdose doesn't automatically mean it's self-inflicted.

So she didn't actually kill him then, I started to think she had injected him herself and is missed it. She said she killed him because she bought him the drugs and didn't call the ambulance when he passed out and just left him to die?

Exactly Red. She feels guilty for obtaining the drugs for him. I don't think she knew he would OD, just that he was in withdrawal & could die from the shock to his body. I think she was trying to help him. Wasn't the problem more that he took what would've been a normal amount for him previously but because his body wasn't used to it & he was already very ill it was an overdose? I know if someone gets clean & then tries to take the amount of a drug they used to use they can overdose because there isn't the same tolerance level, no idea if that's the case when someone's going through withdrawal.

As far as I can see, the only thing Dot did wrong was to not call for help at any point. I'm hoping the court case will come to that conclusion & then they'll have a doctor take the stand who'll state that he would've died from the self-inflicted overdose & pneumonia anyway. That the outcome would've been the same & with Dot's advanced years, I'm predicting she'll get off with a suspended sentence & after her welcome home party & a little more woe-is-me-ing from Dot either Charlie or Ronnie will lecture her about the people who need her there & that she's been given a chance to be a grandmother & great-grandmother & needs to live her life now... Then the whole thing will never be mentioned again.

That is unless June Brown wants to take a break, in which case she'll be found guilty & sentenced to a few years, possibly dying in prison if JB decides she doesn't want to return.

So chances of Kat & Alfie getting a visa to live in oz? Hmmm that would be zero, no chance at all. She is still serving a suspended sentence and I recall he went to prison in spain, they probably wouldn't even let them in for a holiday!

Oh yeah, they must feed them some kind of baby fertiliser! I did notice they had the same nurse as when Scarlet (Janine's baby) was born for Pearl. Bet she has healing hands.
