How long before he's sleeping with Connie though? She was giving him looks almost as soon as he walked in!

I actually quite liked him too. think he might bring a bit more drama into the show!!

Is it usual to recruit nursing staff from waifs and strays that wander in? Lofty was a stray that got a job and I thought it was odd then.

Totally SoupDragon, it's actually how the NHS recruit. Someone goes in and just joins in with the rest of the team. If they manage to ignore enough 'Ois' they're in!!

I'm unhappy with Dillon (Dylan?) turning into a superstitious wreck. I loved his blunt, uncompromising character and I'm worried this is a build-up to him leaving due to stress

I'm not surprised Dylan has focussed on superstition and I agree that he seems to be headed for some kind of breakdown.

I loather the Jacob character so much I had to ffwd through his bits. Pointless bellend. I loathe arrogance in all its forms.

But I think this probably because he is the worst actor to ever appear on Casualty including Charlie's son Louis and all the people who've played corpses.

I hope Jacob is killed off VERY soon. I think I could stand the character if the actor weren't so amdram fgs, he's painful. Cast on steriods looks alone.

Are we supposed to be drooling over his over-pumped up muscles? They seem to be squeezing in every opportunity to showcase his body. That t-shirt he was wearing at the end looked like it was going to burst at the seams. He's an abhorrent character. To "right on" for his own good.

The obligatory mention of Louis, with farcical pleasure about the fact an adult male managed to text his father to say they were out of milk. Again, very happy that this thread finds him a totally dispensible with character. He's also the chubbiest drug addict I've ever seen.

Max and Zoe. Sigh. Loved the scene at the end. Please, let them be happy.

Stop fucking around with Dylan. Let him go back to being witty, brilliant and ascerbic and one of the best characters in Casualty ever.

Well, Noel obviously but from a plot point of view, Ethan and therefore Lily. Lily is about to have her robotic dating plans scuppered. I imagine that is the only reason she's back.

Also how come Jacob, a NURSE, can afford to hand out £20 notes to random patients? Oh God, let there not be some tedious backstory about him being a secret millionaire who is a nurse purely for the joy of being treated with contempt by wankers in senior management, like scum by politicians, and as a general dogsbody/screeching post/slave by members of the public.

Not only has a job but is trying to run the place already by the looks of it.

Oh he's just awful, he's dominating every scene, not doing any actual work but questioning everyone else's judgement and dispensing pearls of wisdom. Ugh!

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they give Max and Zoe a happy ever after. I think Zoe is ace and if Nax is what she needs to make her happy then I say let them be!
