Well he keeps RTing my BBC RTs about TM. And there's a conversation where somebody has commented in Spanish about Santi & he's replied how he thinks he's talented too, then he RT what I said about that too. He's so cute.

I have no idea why you can't see it. Perhaps look in his tweets & replies rather than just his tweets?

Afternoon wenches! Raining here and we shall also be unearthing/tidying when 1. I've finished my coffee and actin I (they were doing out of date so have to be eaten) and 2. The males stop watching Spirited Away and actually help.

Can't imagine Milady is gone forever. I had assumed England was somewhere she'd spent time when working for the Cardinal (in the books she can pass as a native Englishwoman) so it would be an relatively easy country for her to live in. I also thought part of her reasoning was given Athos had suggested she go there, at least twice to our knowledge, she might as well go because even if he didn't want her it was something she could do for him.

I don't know of she thought Athos would come but she certainly hoped he would (she even quietly mouths 'come' while she's waiting). We know she is a risk-taker and her ultimatum is a huge risk but, if he came, one with a huge pay out. She may not have even thought they would get as far as England but it would force Athos to declare his hand.

I liked apes interpretation that maybe she just wanted to see if he cared enough to show up, and then she would say, ok, back to paris then.

Cos it is a bit baffling as to why she feels the need to go to england. He's clearly not going to kill her now, if she stays in paris. Why not suggest something he'd be more likely to go for, like "hey lets shack up here together and see how it goes"?

Anyway the series was littered with plot holes like this, so Id best not get started...

I don't think she would have returned to Paris with him. She said she didn't want to be "that creature" anymore and in Paris that is who she will always be. Just like he will always be the man who went back to her. I think she genuinely wanted a new life for them both, she's done it before. And England because of the books, and the BBC connection and maybe the Duke of Buckingham?

However I don't think he was going to go with her. He couldn't, too much honour and duty and war has just been declared. So it was never going to end well even if she was at the non crossroads when he got there. This way it's all set up for her to be back for S3 and she can be bitter and jilted and they have effectively gone back a couple of steps.

I like your ideas about Milady issy. I think Paris and actually France in general has too much of the past. Plus he is an upholder of the law and she is the King's previous mistress and an assassin.

I do like milady a lot but in that case I think may as well not have her in s3. Let athos move on with some fresh storylines someone else. I think Im a bit done with the whole milathos dynamic now tbh.

So does that mean we have to cast the Duke of Buckingham and the new baddie? A wench's work is never done.

And I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with Queenie's wonderful "don't fuck with me" attitude.

And Trev might get involved with perhaps a visiting female royal/dignitary now that he's in the palace.

Oh I don't think Athos can just move on to someone new. He's in love with her and they are 'bound'. See, even with Ninon he wasn't tempted really was he?

I hope Fancy managed to watch and enjoy.

No wonder howie said at Apple that he wanted Porthos to have a romance / possibly a son in s3. Porthos had no romantic action whatsoever in s2, and as a result his interest throughout the series was pretty low.

Not that having a romance is the only way to make a character's story interesting...but it was the case in s2 imo.

LetUs yes I think we do need to cast Mazarin, Buckingham possibly, and some Spanish war fodder.

Buckingham a big laugh because iirc he was the biggest gay in the village in RL, so Dumas was a bit of a Dumbass with that...

Well...in that case the writers have backed themselves down plotline cul de sacs then, which doesnt bode well for s3 really. If milathos is never going to happen, tie it off and change the record? Otherwise it will just be so stale and repetitive. Same goes for annamis. I bloody hope they just dont even go there in s3. I cant hack the thought of another series of angst-ridden meaningful looks between the two of them.

The humour that everyone wants in s3 is not going to exist without binning the character alignments that led to such angsty and depressing storylines this series.

Absolutely no idea where they will go with Milathos but I really do think that's the end of the road for Anamis. They've just got away with treason - surely they wouldn't be so stupid to think they'd get away with it twice? I'd give it a go for Aramis

The bromance thing was nudging back in during the final 2 eps. If the writers have got any sort of finger on the pulse of social media they'll know they've got to run with that again.

Oh God LetUs. The one where he scrunches his eyes up & leans into the wall. I just want to shag him senseless make it all right for him.

I think the monastery thing with Aramis will spell the end of him and Queenie. He'll come back, then try and keep it in his pants but probably fail with someone new. But he will not fuck about with the Queen anymore as has learnt his lesson, an tbh if he hasn't she will have.

Athos and Milady is a thing for S3. Has to be. She'll be back and bitter, he'll be tortured, Dog will be all WTAF at him but can't say it because she helped against Rochefort, Aramis will be all understanding...it'll be good.
