Morning. CJs off to jen now for a few days, I explained she's having a bit of writers block so he is happy to help in any way. Such a keen and eager soldier Grin

The latest story, while it's good reading it's so taken from actual life it's a little uncomfortable reading at times. As you know it's actually happened in RL...

Jen don't expect CJ to turn up promptly with BK. When she picked him up from me to deliver him ti ice, I think she took a wrong turning somewhere. An hour's drive took about six in the end....

Have a friend coming up from Manchester today. We used to work together. Taking her out for lunch (fed up of cooking this week) and then thinking of going up to Stonyhurst College. That was the initial setting for Painted's 'Five Years More'.

Morning all. I really want to know who the author of The Treading the Boards ff is. Just read chap 3 and the ref to how he needs to spruce up his wardrobe. Surely, it's someone on here?! We just need something about how he's overdue a trip to the hairdresser cos his hair looks like a guinea pig perched on his head, then we can be certain. Easter Smile

Ooh and there was the mention of him putting on a few pounds in Canada and I'd said I preferred his more chiselled look in OG. Tbh, I'm beginning to think I'm the author - just the drawbacks that I can't write and my research skills are rubbish!

Morning ladies. Belated Happy Easter one and all. Tempted back to comment on the new FF - Treading the Boards. Like the rest of you I think it's someone on here or who lurks here. Their pen name suggests it's an admirer of the trouser wearing capabilities of a certain person much discussed on here.

Curiouser and curiouser! Go on drop a hint into the next chapter for us. I can imagine someone out there tittering away to themselves at all the speculation on here.

Not read new FF yet but just thought I'd come on and add my theory to the mix......CJWoof gone very quiet lately!! And she has very intimate knowledge after her recent visit, maybe she tortured him in her red room under the stairs for info??

He turned up at my door eventually this afternoon with a 'missed me?' I asked him to reenact just what happened after the cameras stopped rolling after that scene. Let's just say we were robbed in the DVD extras (think along the lines of the AT vid from a couple of weeks ago Grin).

I'm back again. Just thought I'd let you know if you haven't seen but the new FF Treading the Boards has been deleted! Plot thickens. Ah well, we'll probably never know! We were relying on you ice.

Back after a day of entertaining and touring the Ribble Valley with my friend. We went up to Stonyhurst College this afternoon and I spend so much time in our CJ parallel universe that I was almost expecting to see him walking his dogs, as portrayed by Painted in "Five Years More"! For those of you not from this area, here's the photo:

Re the story disappearing from the website, if it was somebody taking the micky and who knew BA, it was rather cruel to write it in the first place. I found it slightly creepy, almost as if somebody was stalking him. It is very odd though. It seemed that somebody knew him well or had sifted through every single piece of information they could find on the internet and here on this thread.

There is one thing about googling and finding personal information, but I think then using that info to write a story was a touch too far. It's not what the FF site is about. It seemed to touch on anything we had ever talked about on here too.

Perhaps the person just had second thoughts about it or continuing the story. At least one review asked if they knew BA. They possibly didn't and most of the information is available on the internet or if you have been following social media closely. (In my case that would be getting intel from ice because I don't go on anywhere else) According to my kids I don't do twitter I just witter!

ice I suppose the trouble with this thread is that we have no idea how many lurkers there are. We seem to be about a dozen regular posters now but who knows who else is out there? They could have picked up all our little comments and criticisms I guess and turned them into a story.

Is there a way of having ff removed - is there an "overseeing body" or whatever you call it on the site?

It's hard to believe that there is anyone in control of the website when they haven't updated their messages since Christmas but I'm guessing it is being managed. There is a support administrator you can report things to. If you click on the help function at the bottom of the main start up page. There's an email address for reporting abuse or violations.
