I think I'd hyperventilate if I met BA in a bar . Had to go back and check the story to see if the bar was named- it's not!

Happy Easter everyone! Bit quiet chez Orphan as for complicated reasons we're having the roast lamb etc tomorrow. Still managed an egg hunt though (think I might have made the clues a tad too cryptic though, judging by how long it took for the eggs to be found!).

Have been laid low all last week with the mother of all lurgies. I turned into a prime example of spo's 'alternatively alive', just considerably less alive.

Caught up with all the ff which gets better and better. Thank you all you uber talented writers!

woof you'll be pleased to know Captain SmoothWithAScythe paid me a visit when I was ill, desperate to show me his bed bath skills, but I was feeling so rough that I sent him packing actually Major LieOnMyBed had beaten him to it and even brought his own flannel .

With the new fan fiction, I am more convinced now that they know BA or someone he's close to as its not widely publicised but they did film at UCLA... Only been one or two tweets about it

Been a lovely day here. Went for a walk with parents in law earlier stopping off at pub on way back. Best of all littlest fell asleep in his buggy after about 15 mins and woke as were leaving pub about 2 1/2 hrs later. Now having an unconventional Easter tea of sandwiches and chocolate

Slightly left of centre weekend away but feeling quite smug. Gorgeous grub on Friday and prior to the mad hatter cream tea on Saturday, we went to Bletchley Park-wanted to go ther for ages, so DH does listen!! Oh, I did mention the bed didn't I!! Would add winky face if I could!
Did Woburn for him today.
DH has mentioned a weekend away in Bath in the future, how much could I push my luck?

Hi popping out of lurk-dom to say hi and Happy Easter.
Just wanted to add my voice to how fab the selection of fan fic is at the moment. A couple of weeks back it had gone a bit quiet and some longer stories had ended and I thought that might be it but fortunately our favorite couple seem to be a constant source of inspiration. Perhaps this is the silver lining of a short series, so many unanswered questions.

Anyway, is anyone else getting those mid week feelings of looking forward to Poldark? A sign of decompression??!! I am but nothing compared to that final week of waiting for OG where I could barely concentrate on anything but WHAT WILL HAPPEN??? Haven't checked out the MN Poldark thread though!

Nothing like OG last week at all. i do enjoy watching Poldark, but so different to how watching OG did. I can't explain it still how I got so caught up in it - well apart from excellence in all areas- compared to other programmes

Poldark can never rival OG in my eyes - CJ is incomparable. However, Prudey can attest to Ross' connoisseurship of syllabubs and he certainly knows his way round a pasty tasting or two.

I just can't get into Poldark, and I keep trying! I was enjoying Prudey and Darkie on here, so much more! But I am getting that feeling about BS42 ... which is really weird as there is no one fanciable in it, but I am really enjoying it!

nickel I too am really enjoying bluestone - would love it if someone really clever did a bluestone/OG crossover - would love to see what bird would make of CJ!!

Evening all. Been out late afternoon/early evening with friends. Their brother in law put in an appearance and I find him such hard work to make conversation with (not usually a problem I have as a rule). Was quite glad to get home in the end. Was very foggy on the way back home too.

That latest ff with CJ as an actor is odd. Has anyone read the second chapter. Just not sure quite what to make of it as I am guessing much of it is pretty true to life. I think it was ice who thought it must be somebody close to him who's writing. When I was reading it, it almost felt like BA was being stalked.

Am loving the greenstuff ff and wondering where "That's an Order" is going to go.

In our parallel CJ universe, when does the man move over the border to Jen?

PS: Meant to comment on Poldark too. It's just not floating my boat at all, sorry and I think orphan hit the nail on the head when she said CJ is incomparable. Am quite hooked on BS42 though.

orphan sorry you've been poorly, but nothing like a sniff of prosecco to get you back on your feet. Bit like the "brandy wine" in Poldark when you're going into labour!!!!

We have been to my sisters today for lunch and a Easter egg hunt, I'm so full I can hardly move. jen I've just read your latest , perfection. FF has logged me out and I can't remember my password, so I haven't been able to leave a comment.

Re. Poldark. I'm really enjoying it and actually liking that DH is watching too so we can discuss it. Think he rather fancies Demelza, all those soft pink skin heaving breasts! But I can't help but think BA would be cast better for the role. I wonder if he can get rid of his posh buoy accent?

Enjoying Poldark but don't feel anywhere near the anticipation beforehand as I did for OG.

I'm not sure about the new CJ/MD actor ff although good, some of it's not fiction, obviously by someone in the know or very very good at wheedling out info.
