I thought it was brilliant and very uncomfortable viewing. I liked the ending where it emerged what an utter selfish twat he was who couldn't give a shit, whatever he persuaded himself he felt when he was with her

Finally watched. Great episode. She def looked young but he would have known her age was 15/school girl

She def was up for it tho and yes under 16 is consensual rape but kinda unfair as she made her feelings clear / but obv the law is the law

Shane about the ending. I wanted max b to call the police at the end or him to crash his car - he seemed to get away with it

They all have loose ends apart from 1st one and dead wife

2nd with drugs - what happened to mk friend
3rd her affair was found out - is she still with hubby and what happened to bloke who got beaten up
4th - this one - so does he get away Scott free?

Or will the final episode tie up all loose ends?

Stressful viewing tonight. 2 families & big money worries. Scary stuff. At least they are brining the missing husband stuff to the front at last!

Did he get away with the car hijack ? Mckenzie Crook always looks undernourished and nervy so was good in this part, this was another good episode.

I am really hoping it doesn't turn into one of those programmes where they have left to much to the end and then its crammed in too tightly. They have brought some of the characters back/old stories have been mentioned so I am hoping the tie things up next wk. Tonights needs an ending for sure-whether he told his wife, whether the police caught him and how he sorted money issues.

It was hard to watch but really good. I wanted a happy ending.

I probably wasnt concentrating, but how did he have 600 in the bank for the casino, yet was saying to the little boys mum that he didn't have any money? Even if the scam with the cars had paid out, the bloke wouldnt have paid it into his bank! How could he afford a solicitor. Felt sorry for the man who is being beaten.
It seems that Beths hubby appears next week. His mum was awful. Its still good though. Hope they make another series.

Yes, that was an excellent bit of acting from the guy playing Jase, my heart went out to him, hope there's a happy ending there......

I agree jkd - I'm hoping that next week will focus completely on Beth and that the 'tidying up' of other stories will be left to the second series (if there is one).

He put about three different cards in to withdraw the £600.
I wonder of they'll be another series and whether it'll be the same characters? They kept enough lose ends to keep it going.

That was really good. I may have sobbed far too much. Poor Beth I felt for her. Her dh wanted to step back into his old life. I am not sure I could forgive.

I felt this last episode was the weakest of the series.

The first two episodes were good, got me very interested. The rest of them, boring and nearly turned off half way through them.

Did not understand the ending of last nights at all. Did Mick and Beth actually stay together or go back to their spouses?

If another series is made, I doubt I would watch it.

I think the ending was left so we didn't know what was going to happen. I did like it. Didn't watch the first one though.

gambling/casino was good, sad that MC had an affair which resulted in a child, which wife obv didnt know about

glad he told gf where to go, coz blackmailers will always come back for me

assume he maxed out his cards, at also once you take cash out of cards from banks you get charged interest asap so will now owe tons more

surprised police didnt follow the two car salesman after robbery to see who they met/saw as they thought was am inside job, then they would have seen mc meeting them and cash being passed over the table

A patchy series with too many loose ends left for me. I don't think there was anything new being told but I must admit all six episodes were very watchable.

Well I enjoyed this series, there were no maverick detectives or child murderers just exaggerated kitchen sink dramas 00's style. Good enough, with much room for fallout stories.
