I thought it was a great episode - really felt for her character, although why they couldn't just go to the police & say they were doing a viewing in the first instance?? [Guess that would have been episode over I suppose ]

Anyone think there will be a DV storyline with the black eye man ? Hope not.

Yes, same here, but don't know if there's time to show it given there's only three episodes left - the chap having the affair with the 15 year old is next week, then for one of the last two episodes presumably Mackenzie Crook will get his story. Maybe the DV will be in the second series if there is one.

I thought the same thing about the guy with the black eye.

I'm enjoying this series so far. Last night's was good.

And yes, Mackenzie Crook. He's really on the periphery of it all though isn't he? There have been no little hints as to what his story might be. I don't remember him even having a line so far.

Also the husband who has disappeared, who is in a photo. His face is so familiar, but I can't think of his name.

He's been in loads of things Eddie. Most recently Broadchurch.

The "sex in the shower scene" - that was the back view of the guy we saw wasn't it? DH says he thought it was Sally L !

Its the best thing on bbc for ages. I know the stories are a little far fetched, but the acting is brilliant and this helps. I think the guy with the black eye is being beaten by his partner. Still love Max Beesley. He is so handsome.

Does something suss aa his story changes how he got a black eye :(

Be good to see dv against a man as this happens but people often feel that a man couldn't possibly be beaten up by a little woman

Just looked at next week's Radio Times and Mackenzie Crook's character will have his story next week.

This week is awkward viewing. It's going to seriously end in tears.

Really uncomfortable watching this. She is so young looking.

She is tiny and he's massive so it looks even worse!

Yep can't decide if that's good or bad casting. I guess even if she looked older etc he still knew without any doubt how old she was.

Not been watching this so don't know what the backstory is, just caught the tail-end. Isn't this a bit lighthearted for the subject matter? I'm assuming that she lied about her age but she still looks very very young. How old is he supposed to be? He was laughing and singing just then when he drove off in the car so obviously doesn't give a fuck that he could be charged as a paedophile!
