Ooh, look, it's nearly time for a new thread and I'm the only one still here slumped across the bar. I think this place needs decorating ...

I agree Issy. I think he offered her the money to leave Paris because he believes she no longer cares for him, and he can't bear to keep seeing her. They're both too stubborn to admit how they feel and there is too much history keeping them apart. Oh, how I love a tragic love story.

muffinino82 · 28/02/2015 19:16

Baddz you have my sympathy, bad periods are hell

Madame Shock Was the report favourable? Wink

BloodyElk I'm only ever happy to spread the Blackadder love. I assumed Athos' line was a reference to that ep as soon as I heard it Grin

MiladyBeaWinter · 28/02/2015 19:18

Howdo Wenches.

Loved loved loved last nights episode. I actually quite like the silly ones (ref last week) but this one had a good plot and story arc development

My thoughts:
Love CSI Paris and Athos being Mr Clever Clogs re the portrait
I didn't pick up on the manflu either, too busy just looking lusting
Also loved fake princess, agree a Milady and Assasin double act would have had all Europe quaking
Um, Dr proposing to Connie? Well he can, but so can Dog? Or have I missed summat?
Athos just has to snog Milady. Seriously, the tension. They are the best two actors in it.
MrBon dying being the sad moment on set that JessP referred to. Seriously? Might be but I still think Kingy won't do S3. Ryan doing too well and Rochefort is a one series baddy.
Which is a shame as YYY to slightly dishevelled Kingy. Even if he is a twat. You'd need to treat him just like Becks and ban him from ever speaking.

In other news DS says he isn't feeling well which probably means he is in spare room with me tonight. Hope Madam's DS is doing ok. I laughed more than I should have about bouncy BabyElk and BabyMouse's baby mop. Don't worry touch wenches, we've all done it / thought it.

Rewatch tonight as DH didn't watch last night cos I was out and doesn't realise I watched it solo.

Lastly but not leastly hope Flops and Fancy have had great birthdays and are suitably pissed by now.

LetUsPrey · 28/02/2015 19:25

Bit of reminiscing for Team Athos

Promo pics from Jan 14 - out takes I think. Nothing we've not seen before though.

You know the bit at the end where Rochefort walks between the four of them and they don't bow but just stare at him? I think I'd've spontaneously combusted to have the four of them staring like that.

MadamedeChevreuse · 28/02/2015 20:36

muffin the wench said she had no complaints!! (btw it wasnt me - Im not doing that 'talking about myself in the third person' thing.)

LetUsPrey · 28/02/2015 20:42

I am new to this topic but have been glued to musketeers throughout. I usually live in aibu and have namechanged a few times.

I am definitely team aramis.

Was re watching some of series one last night and do wish the cardinal was back. Also what happened to the blue cloaks?

Morelikeguidelines · 28/02/2015 21:04

Thanks for the photo letusprey. Is you
your name
a terry pratchett reference?

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 28/02/2015 21:13

Thanks Madame Grin

And I agree Comtess, that was very kind of Adrian Grin

Night my wenches Smile

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 28/02/2015 21:28

yo yo yo! will be catching up in a mo, just jumping straight in.
decided to catch up on Breaking BAd and The House of Cards. Well, how am I to get to the good bits through the booooring one? Hmm

I get they're good programmes but are they really all the shizzle?

Also opened a bottle of champagne that I got from o c a d o. meh, I think the prosecco wins.

off to RBNR.

MiladyBeaWinter · 28/02/2015 21:37

House of Cards is excellent Drink, not done Breaking Bad yet. Underwood and his wife are so ambitious they will do anything, and yet you still find yourself hoping they will win out. And just when you think they can't shock you again, they do. Am looking forward to S3 on Netflix.

That dress? I'm with Apes. I saw light blue with golden brown bits. No-one is talking about that combination so dont know what that makes meConfused.

Welcome. Have some Wine. Dunno about LetUs, it might be the film or Pratchett or I have it in my head it is something to do with Steve Backshall. The woman is quite rightly obsessed with him.

Morelikeguidelines · 28/02/2015 21:39

My dd adores Steve Backshall (possibly not in the same way). Thanks for the Wine! Have some yourself and some Cake.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 28/02/2015 21:40

well, yessss, mrsb I staretd watching both few months ago and found then very good but emotionally draining (esp. Breaking Bad). So now i'm returning to episodes 8/9 of both series. maybe it just take a while to get back into swing.

still, disappointed with champagne. how is the BoilerGAte?

LetUsPrey · 28/02/2015 21:44

No idea Drink, not seen either.

Night Wicked. Sleep well and sweet dreams.

Hello Morelikeguidelines. I see you have great taste. Not a Pratchett inspired name - it's from a range of clothing from a company who give some proceeds to a shark conservation charity whose t shirt was often seen stretched across Steve Backshall's chest on episodes of Deadly 60 Grin

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 28/02/2015 21:46

LetUs, Aramis sends his regards from the forest. And you know the thing about CP & Fri nights? Well, Sat is the new Fri, he reckons ??

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 28/02/2015 21:50

yes I know there is no sexy motherfuckers on there. I would though Peter Russo, there was a scene with him in a bath tub (crying - that's how I like my men - desperate and broken) and he was well fit.

IssyStark · 28/02/2015 21:51

at morelike

Re the cloaks, they are still there - they were wearing the light blue, cord across the chest one in episode 6 when they turned up at the Palace and Athos decided Milady as the Moon was too much and stomped back to the Barracks. There are also a heavier, dark blue travelling cape with lots of buttons which Athos rather stylish modelled in Pinon. They were wearing those again in this latest episode while escorting fake!Louise.

Btw, has anyone seen the trailer for Banished (starting on Thursdays, BBC 2) set in convict Oz? I ahve a feeling that's my Thursdays gone...

MiladyBeaWinter · 28/02/2015 21:55

Ahha! I was right about the frankly utterly fuckable Steve B. My DS is also a bit obsessed, though again not quite in the same way and he does seem to be falling out of favour due to Vikings and HTTYD. 6 year olds are soooo fickle.

Didn't realise you had watched them before Drink. Boiler is fixed thanks to lovely boiler man who even sorted the water out for me so I didn't ave too. So we are warm and clean and waiting for the repair bill to bankrupt us re the part which went.

MiladyBeaWinter · 28/02/2015 22:00

Oh and YYY to prosecco rather than champagne. Nicer AND cheaper.

MiladyBeaWinter · 28/02/2015 22:06

Oh, also YYY to Russo. And the photographer bloke.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 28/02/2015 22:10

how's things, mrsb? What you wearing...?

AnneOfAramis · 28/02/2015 22:11

Survived the party. Had a sneaky rewatch as a reward - Dog was just waaaay too hot this week.

I want to see Milady executed at the end of series 3. I love her and want to keep her but the bottom line is she is an assassin and is going around killing everyone.

Aramis becomes a priest later in the book series - I know in Twenty Years Later he is a priest, before returning to swashbuckling. I think Fancy, your description is spot on how I perceived him in the book.

I like the inspiration they take from the D'Artagnan Romances - Exiles being a sort of The Man in the Iron Mask type scenario for example. Queenie having an affair albeit with the wrong man. That's what makes it great.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 28/02/2015 22:12

moved on now to Death in Paradise. sooooo cliched and predictable. but at least don;'t need to really follow.
