Hi All. Have you been looking after our boys while I have been away.

Hmmm... who's looking after the boys a little too well !

Ok... didn't get the job but not all bad.

They loved my answers and said I interviewed really well. My colleague who also applied told me later that he got the exact opposite reaction.

All of my feedback was incredibly positive and the reason I didn't get the job was because it's a jump up two levels without doing the one in between - team leader. To them this is important because the team leader does do certain things that the supervisor doesn't but may have to cover and they feel I need to learn that process first.

It's been discussed with the FD and they are going to provide me now with a team leader job spec although there isn't a team leader vacancy at this moment in time. They have asked that I step in and help out with some of the team leader tasks to cover absences and holidays periodically and have also asked me to help out with training newbies. They want me to progress but at a steadier pace and one level at a time. Fair enough.

So... not a perfect outcome but certainly not all bad and I will get a bit more variety while doing my current job and variety, as the saying goes, is the spice of life.

There is def something weird going on here. I think nora is using her paranormal abilities on us. Wenches are somehow linking up psychically in our subconscious states and sharing dream spaces. A bit like Inception. Except ideally it should be called Conception. (Heres hoping.)
