I've just finished the watch and the rewatch.

My particulars

1 rochefort still can't walk in the heels. And very mooby here. Which we know from our secret wench source are a new thing.
2 I thought it was pretty creepy ?hen he was sitting on the chest with the dead chappie in there
3 Salt really doesn't look good on this. Not a good write up for all that healthy living tweeting.
4 I loved Aramis twiddling his tache.
5 also loved Athos being the finest swordsman in France. Hell yes.
6 Milady and Athos bit v gd. Bless him getting his wallet out.
7 kill Rochefort kill him Milady and save Aramis!!! 'You don't want to make an enemy of me' too right. She is quite happy to kill anyone eh.
8 loved Dog going through carriage in start sequence and doing a v sexy 'argh' kill noise straight after. Nice. Ditto Porthos and the sword swishing and that whole bit killing the male assassin.
9 rather pretty wasn't he? And brave pushing that sword through himself.
10 OMC the 'find the prepatory sketches' had me in stitches
11 the writers have clearly never heard of William Harvey with all the pulse taking, but at least Lemay didn't understand why his amazing boiling water was working.
12 lovely that Bonacieux's carked it. Well done Perdita.

I really liked the episode. Reminded me in a way of Savoy last year with girl spy assassin and other riyals but in a good way.

One issue with this ep was why he made Marg steal the crucifix only to reveal he have it to Queenie and then just give it back. He knew it was his gift without getting Marg to nick it. All a bit clumsy exposition. . Sorry, plot talk

Mouse - yes I was watching GN. I dunno about all the cheatiñg stuff Drinky. He's a fabulous sportsman tho and I know kids and parents who have been on his soccer school things who think he's amazing.

He also, as pointed out by Graham, looks great in just a pair of pants. Don't fancy him tho. Bit common and bit high pitched Gotta be posh or have a deep voice for me.

Agree that I prefer the Cardinal as a villain. I did chuckle when that guy who admitted the Cardinal was the one to refuse the ransom said he wouldn't pay it because he didn't think Rochefort was mentally stable.
