Ooh, look, it's nearly time for a new thread and I'm the only one still here slumped across the bar. I think this place needs decorating ...

LetUsPrey · 27/02/2015 22:23

Adrian - you're safe. Loved that episode!

Off to the chateau with Aramis now though. I'll catch up in the morning.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 27/02/2015 22:24

I am herrrrrrre wenches! Reporting from villa with wifi. Repeat, wifi is a go-er!
I did you proud wenches, turned down dessert then did a speed walk back to villa & only missed the first 20 mins so will catch up with that Sun eve. Wooooohoooooo.
Did anyone else shout LET HIM DIE DOG!!!??

MadamedeChevreuse · 27/02/2015 22:26

That was so much better than last week. Loved the twist about the princess, esp cos it gave athos the chance to say "Fetch the preparatory sketches!"

Oh and hey aramis haterz - who's worse, a man who gently dumps a woman cos they dont like them, or a man who HANGS THEM FROM A TREE??? cos they murdered your brother

ApricotCrush · 27/02/2015 22:27

Oh, that was excellent. I need to rewatch, I can't take it all in on the first viewing, but a few thoughts

I feel sorry for Marguerite, Aramis has treated her badly.
A & E Paris was rather gruesome.
Rochefort still can't walk in those heels.
Great exchange between Athos and Milady.
Still no fecking sex.

Dog is looking mighty fine this season.

Off to read the thread. I don't know how you manage to post while watching. Grin

Carolina2015 · 27/02/2015 22:27

YAY! At last... an episode of The Musketeers with Musketeers in it for almost the whole episode.

Loved it!

Felt a teensy bit sorry for Bonacieux... but only a teensy bit.

muffinino82 · 27/02/2015 22:28

Thanks WickedWench Smile Have had a glass or 3 Grin Wine

MadamedeChevreuse · 27/02/2015 22:30

Rochefort must die before he exposes aramis. End of. I want him to die this series. He's a bloody rubbish actor villain and cant hold a candle to the cardinal. There. I said it.

MavisGrind · 27/02/2015 22:31

Hahahaha Madame - I always go for the 'hang them from a tree' variety of man which explains my woeful track record.

Yay! Sparks heellllooooo on your mini hols.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 27/02/2015 22:34

Hello wenches!

Madame I was just coming on here to say the same thing! WTAF!!!! In fact when the King spoke to Rochefort at the end, I actually shouted 'No' at the TV! Blush

Rochefort is the polar opposite of the Cardinal and Marc Warren can't compare to PCap (and this is nothing to do with my Team Cardinal loyalties!)

IssyStark · 27/02/2015 22:35

Well I liked that.

I think the series has been building well all along but the breaks early on really did shaft it. It was only in a rematch of ep 1 this week that I realised we'd known the name of Porthos's father all along as Trev and the General discussed it.

As for where Milady is going, who knows? I think she's out for Rochefort and killing the fake Princess Louise is part of that - gaining his trust (as much as anyone can) before attempting to dob him in.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 27/02/2015 22:36

Although that was the best episode of this series. I kind of admire Milady. And Dog really is getting hotter!

AnneOfAramis · 27/02/2015 22:39

Bloody hell wenches. I have just tried to catch up but can't so going to read comments on tonight, whilst watching Will Smith and Hugh Jackman. Saw the Poldark trailer - def two nights a week off for me at the moment then.

MavisGrind · 27/02/2015 22:39

Oh, Issy, as an aside....did you mention The Hour earlier> It is my most favourite thing in the whole world TM excepted. I have a whole Anna Chancellor thing going on... love it.

IssyStark · 27/02/2015 22:43

Mavis absolutely agree re Anna Chancellor, would not kick her out of bed. Saw her last summer in Chichester in the Minerva (smaller studio space) and she was bloody brilliant.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 27/02/2015 22:50

Oh, this is a promising graham norton.

And am v much looking forward to seeing A give M her marching orders. Sue me.

LetUsPrey · 27/02/2015 22:51

On the Poldark trailer did it say when it starts? If it didn't, it's Sunday 8th March at 9pm.

AnneOfAramis · 27/02/2015 22:56

But now David Beckham is on my bloody TV.

Flopsy28 · 27/02/2015 22:56

Rochefort must die before he exposes aramis.
madame, I just loudly snorfled at that.

Hi anne, not seen you in too long.

sparkle! How goes the birthday? Well done in turning down pud for the boys...

MavisGrind · 27/02/2015 22:56
