Hi ladies. Just checking in. Lovely day in Chester and really warm for early March. The hotel is about 10 miles outside Chester in a gorgeous picturesque village and the restaurant looks very tempting for later. It was a cheap Travelzoo offer - £44.50 each for dinner, b&b.

Hi Ladies, Thank you, you have all cheered me up as I have spent the past week on my sick bed laughing. So working on the ' if you can't beat them then join them' principle thought I had better cease lurking and join in. Can't quite believe that CJ has been catching the imagination for nearly 6 months!! I had just put my obsession down to the menopause, until I found you, and agree that we all need some pure escapism from RL!! Also discovered FF and you guys are writing some cracking stories ... please don't stop!! Amazing to think that the early tales were so short, compared to the wonderful complex works we are being treated to!! In fact my DVD now comes out just for a refresher of the voices so when reading I hear them!!
Re CJs tour would be happy to offer to take up the slack, at short notice, if any surprise slippage occurs...

Just popping in briefly to say how much I am enjoying these FF and to apologise for the slightly bizarre nature of some of my reviews, I am trying to rein them in by writing them in a book....that no one else... ever sees

icemist At the risk of fuelling my conspiracy theorist position I wouldn't be surprised at all if the new author was someone we've read before... Or someone being mentored by them.... Like whajeb noted it has a familiarity to it... The tone, style, research, military knowledge, Molly as hero...

Whether I'm right or wrong it's nice to have a new story though. Anyone braved Markab's new one yet?
