I think they're trying to show she's just like her mum. But zainab hen pecking Masood worked somehow and it was funny. When Shabnam does it to Kush, it just looks rude. Probably because the actress is so rigid. I want to WD-40 her joints.

Shabnum really does act nothing like a typical Muslim. She seems to have a completely different sense of right and wrong compared to what most Muslims have. I also wish she goes away and we don't have to bear her animated facial expressions any more.

I've been so used to seeing Nancy with a long face recently due to all the unhappiness in the family it was nice to see her have a happy moment. She looked really lovely when she laughed.
