I don't blame Carol for going off on one. It probably had something to do with the son she had with Alan (Billy) dying a few years ago as well as Jim being racist towards Alan.

I think when a parent dies a lot of old feelings can be triggered. For carol it was a lot of negative emotions from the past. It can be hard as when people die, others will often talk about them as if they were all good and forget the bad. Can't talk ill of the dead and all that.
I think he mellowed-I think that's what dot was referring to in the prison with sonya when she said 'we got the best of him, me and you' But Dot also didn't have very nice view back in the day. She prob wouldn't have treated her kids how jim did, but she was v small minded.
I like carol-she is a strong character and its good when they give her a storyline of her own rather than when she is just in other peoples storyline.
I still don't understand how mo was able to claim the money for kat. They'd have asked for i.d and its not like she is even the same age as kat.
Danny dyer was actually good last night. I think he actually can act, but often chooses not to put the effort in as he is so cocky. But I think even he knew that last nights episode required the effort. He needed to show respect to that storyline and the great actor he was playing along side
