Oh yeah i remember but still she is deluded it will work

differentnameforthis · 31/03/2015 09:17

There is no way she would have chosen for that to be the case. That's the whole point, I reckon Phil put the scares on her to stay away, he isn't exactly known for being nice, is he!!

RedCrayons · 31/03/2015 17:51

Ben told Abi he still liked men but she said it didn't matter, she's make it work. She possibly doesn't know he's trawling the Internet for boys.

Sharon's hair is getting worse.
Poor Kat

Greenkit · 31/03/2015 19:14

.

jkdnanny · 31/03/2015 22:11

tbf I think nicks first 'death' was different in that they were meant to be faking his death.

While I think the return of Kathy is stupid, I think it will make for some good storylines. And we have lost quite a lot of good actors/resses that there on the show previously

HoraceCope · 31/03/2015 22:20

dont think i'd use Shirley's hair dressers, not exactly a good advert

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/03/2015 23:09

abi is silly, she cant change ben

katsscarring is miminal and barely noticeable

i take it cora wont actually marry him before he dies

The Kathy thing is stupid. The must have thought that it worked with Den so why not? It's a bit insulting to the viewers to ask us to swallow it twice

LineRunner · 02/04/2015 09:46

Sharon's hair must have its own agent.

DieselSpillages · 02/04/2015 10:04

What was the point of all the palava bringing Stan home only to ship him off againConfused

LineRunner · 02/04/2015 10:09

Indeed. What a peculiar scene. Timothy West's superior acting actually had the unfortunate effect of making the rest of the characters and dialogue seem awkward and artificial.

HoraceCope · 02/04/2015 10:45

i think that sort of thing with Stan does happen in real life but perhaps they didnt want to scare us with being too graphic.
but yes, it did look absolutely ridiculous, bring him home, feed him whelks in a miraculously fast appearing hospital bed and then call the paramedics.

will he be back in a few hours?

HoraceCope · 02/04/2015 10:45

although with Cora's howling I did feel for her.

cogitosum · 02/04/2015 20:01

I've missed most of this week. What happened with Kat and a mattress?

Also what was the duh duh duh moment tonight? Ds won't settle so missed it!

MmeMorrible · 02/04/2015 20:35

Haven't seen tonight's yet so can't help with the duff duff.

Alfie told Kat that Mo had taken Harry's money on her behalf. Kat went batshit crazy & tore the flat apart looking for the money. She found it in Mo's mattress, dragged in into the street, poured a bottle of vodka over it and set light to it sending the money up in smoke.

RedCrayons · 02/04/2015 20:58

Stan, longest death ever. Pat was in EE for 20 years and hers didn't go on this long. Assume he's going next week after Dean shows up.

Poor Kat, I don't like her normally but feel for her this week.

Mrsjayy · 02/04/2015 21:15

Goodness it's been cheery Hmm poor Stan poor kat even poor Ben imagine getting dumped naked lovely father Phil is

Southeastdweller · 02/04/2015 21:26

Very good acting from Timothy West yet again tonight.

I also feel sorry for Kat...seems like she never got over the abuse from Harry, though maybe someone who's had that experience never can.

SoupDreggon · 02/04/2015 21:36

I laughed at Ben :o

Mrsjayy · 02/04/2015 21:47

I can't imagine anybody being able to get over what kat went through it is depressing but I like that they revisit it from time to time

I'm struggling with it at the moment. There is nothing lighter to balance all the really serious stuff

LineRunner · 03/04/2015 05:44

The Cindy / Beth story is depressing, too.

Mrsjayy · 03/04/2015 08:59

No there is nothing to balance it out and I think Jim dies soon too
