I'm intrigued by where the Denny storyline is going. I was just thinking the other day that they should do a story involving a child being diagnosed with ASD... Bit concerned this might be it & they've started it with him attacking another child! Hopefully it'll just be poor parenting & Sharon taking a new hard-line attitude will solve everything magically.

Domestic abuse has been an issue raised a lot recently in documentaries etc. Theres been a bit of a focus on it-recent programme on bbc and theres one on channel 5 called 'my violent child' which follows children who are violent towards their parents. Apparently its on the increase. I suspect that's part of the reason eastenders(and corrie) have started to do storylines on it. Soaps do seem to find a way to have their storylines following real life issues
