Can anyone tell me if I missed something please?

Why was Lucy going with ben to Miami?

SymphonyofShadows · 20/02/2015 22:16

Why does DD walk like version 2 of the Terminator? Points shoulders in the right direction then swivels the rest of the body to follow.

Bluetone · 20/02/2015 22:16

Kat was hilarious in her drunk scenes. She wouldn't have looked out of place with Rick and Eddie on Bottom.

AliceinWinterWonderland · 20/02/2015 22:31

It bothers me that Denise's role in Lucy's injuries as well as Abi's will never be looked at. Bobby will ultimately bear the blame when it is possible that any of the other injuries may have been to blame (or a combination of them all). Sad that it bothers me but there you go. I got the impression jake hitting her nose was an accident.

AliceinWinterWonderland · 20/02/2015 22:33

Abi's behaviour wasn't great but I thought Denise's behaviour was rather shocking really. And she has never really shown guilt over it (not yet anyway)

MagpieCursedTea · 20/02/2015 22:41

I still think there's a chance that it'll come out that Bobby didn't hit her hard or even in the head and that she will have collapsed and died from her previous injuries. No one saw Bobby do it so there's room for doubt.

temporaryusername · 20/02/2015 22:51

I don't know what's wrong with me, I was quite gripped by it by I wasn't genuinely moved by it at all, nowhere near crying at it. I think the actress who plays Jane is really good - she was brilliant tonight - but for some reason I don't really engage with the character. I don't know what I think - I partly think it was done well, but also it didn't connect for me. Bobby never seemed likely to hit Lucy, and it does bug me that the other injuries might have played a part - not just Denise and Abi, Max and Jake too. I don't even know if lying to Bobby about this would be in his best interests.

Pyjamaramadrama · 20/02/2015 22:53

I enjoyed the episode and filling in the missing gaps but I'm disgusted that Ian has stayed with Jane.

I think that Bobby will surely realise when he grows up that he killed his sister. I also think that he'd need counselling or something.

Rivercam · 20/02/2015 23:00

I thought jane's acting was superb tonight, and also ian and Peter. It tied up a lot of loose ends tonight. Still not sure whether Emma or Lauren thought it was Jane or Bobby.

I didn't like the Dean storyline -setting light to a pub has been done before, and do we need another murder /beating up ( if Dean isn't dead)?

There's going to be some interesting storylines with Kathy/Ian and Kathy/Sharon. Is kathy Ben's mum?

I've really enjoyed the week, although partly wished I had' tread the Eastenders threads, because the correct killer was predicted.

Rivercam · 20/02/2015 23:02

My ds pointed out that the baby was called Pearl, because pearls represent thirty years in marriage.

( sorry if this has been mentioned before - haven't read the whole thread)

Just caught up with lasts nights and tonight's after missing it because of my blooming birthday night out..... I guessed right - I was waiting for my phone call from EE today to say I'd won the tour but it never came, so disappointed.

Great episode tonight. Bobby will be a psychopath in 10 years (probably after 10 more actors playing him too).

PartyFops · 20/02/2015 23:27

Can someone please explain the Ben/Jamie thing please?

I'm confuzzled!! Grin

shitebag · 20/02/2015 23:34

Ben/Jamie thing?

shitebag · 20/02/2015 23:40

Oh Ben and Jay??

I'm not rely sure why they were there but I'm assuming that will be revealed later.

From what I gather Ben contacted Jay when he was released from prison and somehow got in contact with and arranged to go to Miami with Lucy but she didn't go for whatever reason. They followed Lucy to find out why and then Ben mugged her when she refused to play along anymore.

Ben and Jay also robbed a store that night hence Jay burying his hat along with Lucy's purse and phone that were stolen in the mugging.

There's still a lot unanswered though.

Camolips · 20/02/2015 23:55

Just watched tonight's and was quite tearful when the letter was read out. But why did Bobby wait until tonight to produce it? Also why wouldn't he have let slip that Lucy had been in the house seeing as he thought he'd done nothing wrong? Not sure why Jane would put Lucy in the boot if she was just taking her to the hospital? So many questions!
And what's happened to Dean?
After someone mentioned Mick's walk I was looking out for him and yes, it is rather strange!

Camolips · 21/02/2015 00:13

Oh and I thought it was clever that the fireworks did the doof doof at the end!

CarlaVeloso · 21/02/2015 00:26

I haven't seen EE in years but caught the live episode tonight. Naturally I haven't a clue what's going on...BUT...was Ian Beale wearing a fat suit?!!!

jkdnanny · 21/02/2015 00:27

I think emma did know it was bobby. I think that's why she was finding it so hard to report it. It was also what ian was going on about when he kept saying it was hours inbetween emma meeting jane and the car crash so why didn't emma report it, its what helped him come to the conclusion that jane was lying.

Izzy24 · 21/02/2015 00:53

What were Ben and Jay up to on the bus? What did Denise find at the allotment ?

Have I missed everything?

Izzy24 · 21/02/2015 00:56

Oh, just read post up thread.
Thanks shitebag!

Nearasdammit · 21/02/2015 02:16

I can't watch Danny Dyer without sniggering. He's got one posture (arms held out from his sides) and one expression (slightly puzzled, head tilted like someone trying to remember if he left the iron on).

Zoe Ball is a terrible presenter with absolutely huge hands like the Kenny Everett character.

Letitia Dean is very affected isn't she?

Bogeyface · 21/02/2015 02:39

I was thinking thank goodness it wasnt George Lamb, he is an utter creep!

SuchSweetSorrow · 21/02/2015 07:13

Does anyone know what is happening with Lauren and Peter, will they leave together and live happily ever after?! I want those two to have a happy ending at least!

cleanmachine · 21/02/2015 07:26

Can someone explain to me why when been stole lucys phone it was near her body in good Friday when they showed us get body?

Adam was amazing. Jane wooden. Does dd only have one look? Eyes squinting staring off into the distance. Nancy completely outacted dd. Will miss peter.
