Kathy is coming back for a bigger story line later in the year, I think they have just used this as a bit of a taster of what's to come.

I still think that something is missing from the Beales house, possibly got broken / smashed when they moved the body. The police went through the house and would have picked up any bloodstains etc via forsenics but did they look outside?

Tanya & Max did make references earlier to what Abi used to be like...so sweet, Daddy's girl, wanted to be a vet etc...and Tanya did look cagey about why she was back.
