Justmuddlingalong · 19/02/2015 22:55

Maybe Lucy died of boredom/confusion, while watching a soap opera on the telly. Confused

RJnomore · 19/02/2015 22:56

Why do you think bobby doesn't know he killed her? What did I miss?

LineRunner · 19/02/2015 22:57

What did the post mortem say?

And if a body is moved after death is it usually detectable according to Nicky Alexander

Justmuddlingalong · 19/02/2015 22:58

Bobby said something like, 'whatever she says, she started it' to Jane. So mustn't realise she's dead.

raspberrywhitechocolate · 19/02/2015 22:59

Wasn't there something about a blow tovthe head and strangulation too? Or did I just imagine that...

LineRunner · 19/02/2015 22:59

But who was the 'she'?

youarekiddingme · 19/02/2015 22:59

I don't think there was an argument? I thinks Booby came downstairs, saw Lucy, picked up the box, she looked up, he hit her. She fell.
The only thing that's confusing me is the way Jane answered the phone. Is didn't think she'd speak to Bobby like that?

YouKilledLucyBeale · 19/02/2015 22:59

Did anyone see Denise hit Lucy to the floor through the windows? Max knew about the drunk and Abbie knocks to the head.

LineRunner · 19/02/2015 23:00

We need the post mortem report. Stat.

MagpieCursedTea · 19/02/2015 23:00

I was wondering about the Mick/Tanya thing too. Maybe it's setting up for Tanya to be confused with Linda.
Or Danny Dyer was on a bet to run into a live scene and do something daft Grin

okeydonkey · 19/02/2015 23:00

I'm sorry but this is crap. What a let down. Feel like boycotting EE, but im too addicted lol

youarekiddingme · 19/02/2015 23:02

I think the 'she' is Lucy line so whatever Lucy tells Jane about the event Bobby is saying she started it. So she with people that he doesn't know she's dead. Hence why when he slept by the place her body was found he thought she died there.

Fakebook · 19/02/2015 23:02

Yes he said something along the lines of "whatever she says, she started it"...quite a childish thing to say. Obviously he didn't know she was dead.

Also, bobby had a different head when Lucy died Grin. No wonder Lucy looked at him weirdly and said "it's you"Confused

okeydonkey · 19/02/2015 23:03

Why were ben and jay cross with Lucy?

raspberrywhitechocolate · 19/02/2015 23:03

Ashamed to say I just went back and watched the last five minutes on IPlayer. Couple of clarifications though, the front door wasn't open when max looked over, it was just the back gate. And when lucy turned round and said 'oh, it's you,' its not the sound of someone coming in the front door, it's a creak like someone's standing on the stairs.

YouKilledLucyBeale · 19/02/2015 23:03

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cindy_Williams_(EastEnders) The post-mortem report later reveals Lucy died because of a deliberate head injury, meaning that she has been murdered

LineRunner · 19/02/2015 23:05

Yes I can believe Jane could convince a little Bobby that Lucy wasn't dead then and died in the woods.

But an 11 year old - a secondary school kid?

Justmuddlingalong · 19/02/2015 23:05

Any ideas about Miami? Why were Lucy and Ben planning on going? I won't sleep properly tonight.

temporaryusername · 19/02/2015 23:06

I wonder if they're going to leave it open as to why she died - whether it was from one incident (and which) or a combination of all the blows to the head - Max (in the car lot), Jake (back at the flat), Abi, Denise, then it appears Bobby! I don't know if the post mortem would have registered different injuries/timings though. If Max did help move the body it could be because he realised he and/or Abi could be suspected.

I didn't think it was going to be Bobby because of the 'it's still murder' line, not sure if that would fit with the situation. Did Ian think it was Jane, or had he realised it was Bobby?

Will be interesting to see how the young actor does in the live episode. Although it is a bit of a cop out because Bobby as a character has been there years and hardly ever spoken or had a storyline.

I suppose it does fit with him running away, but in a way you'd have thought Jane would want to keep him away from the Beales not return there. Did she think returning would be better for Bobby, or did she actually want to remarry Ian...?

LineRunner · 19/02/2015 23:06

So the post mortem said one blow to the head, not multiple?

RigbyandMordecaisMum · 19/02/2015 23:07

Bobby phoned Jane from the landline number. Jane answered it thinking it was probably Ian again, before realising it was Bobby when he spoke. That's how Emma worked it out, call made from the 0207 number at that time to Jane's mobile.

raspberrywhitechocolate · 19/02/2015 23:07

To her credit Jane's acting was very sad when checking her pulse, especially live. Yes Bobby seems to be talking about Lucy as if he thinks she's still alive.

Fakebook · 19/02/2015 23:08

So who lives in Miami? Jane's mum doesn't she? Why were Ben and Lucy going to go there?

I'm finding the Billy thing a bit sick. He had stalkerish pics of her! Why?

Poor Lucy got a few good beatings the night she died. Why didn't they find any scratch marks/bruises from when Denise beat her up?

RJnomore · 19/02/2015 23:08

I've got another theory...

It was Cindy! Bobby knows Lucy is dead - Cindy is Thr one who called Jane - bobby saw it and is telling Jane CINDY started it.

That would fit better with the way Jane answered the phone - and why th music box was wrapped under the tree for Beth...

raspberrywhitechocolate · 19/02/2015 23:10

Yeah I can't believe Jane married On after that. When it was possible she killed Lucy it made sense... If she was cold hearted enough or had enough reason to kill her then the same would fit with her marrying Ian. But if she's covering for Bobby, WHY would she go ahead and marry him again?!
