I think it was a combination of the drunk, Abbie, Denise and Bobby. Max knows all those people hit her on the head.

It seemed as though Bobby didn't know he'd killed her.

I'm guessing that Jane made out that she was ok so Bobby may not realise that he killed her.

Ian was barely undressed 5 minutes beforehand. And Denise was awake. How did they not hear Lucy falling? Let alone the shenanigans that are going to happen when the body is moved. I bet Denise gets up and the pair of them do it together.
