Afternoon all!!
I've caught up finally with the threads, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc after only 3 days without Internet access you'd have thought it was 3 weeks!!!
Watched last night with DH. Both grumpy as our break hadn't really gone to plan but anyway, held our attention for an hour!!!
The plot was just daft. They are getting more ridiculous by the week (last week was an exception). Was it Carolina that said the same? So wronged peasant decides to kidnap the King in a ludicrous fashion having previously been so poor his family starved, to existing in some extraordinary observatory!! Just happens to have a band of followers willing to murder for him handily standing by. Kingy decides to go and see the eclipse WITH THE FUCKING DAUPHIN and little security was also a nonsense. Most Royalty and their heirs don't even travel together. And wronged peasant decides on a ridiculous game of chance to decide the fate of the King and Queen.
I liked Milady's role, I almost felt a bit sorry for her at the end.
Kingy is an utter cunt but it is only 3 or 4 generations until they got rid of the Monarchy and I can completely see why. How could he not see that Treville and D'Artagnan saved him?
I liked the fact that Luca was not orange tanned this week, he was a nice milky coffee colour.
I was pleased that Connie and D'Artagnan got it together again but I thought it was a bit sickly sweet really.
I thought D'Artagnan was great though.
I thought Aramis bit with Queenie and the baby was great, and funny when Margerite was looking on bemused. I'm on the fence whether she realised the meaning of it though.
Good weeks too for Porthos and Athos. I don't really get the Athos-Milady stuff, what am I missing?
Treville was better.
Rochefort is still annoying me. Soup thanks for reminding us that you knew him once.
I would have liked Queenie to have had a bit more balls in the face of danger, she and Margerite were just a bit too schoolgirly and squealy.
Just re-read the above and checked the calendar. Oh well. FMPMT.
