Morning wenches. Sorry about running in then running out last night but first phone rang and then, after an hour's idle chit chat and gossip with DIL I was worn out and went to bed.

Snowing here FFS and I need to go into town today.

Madame... No in. As for the plot... you're right - mad story sums it up well.

Ali... I know the King was written as an idiot in the books and that Rochefort slimily weasles his way in but it is the now constant and inevitable line at the end of every episode about Musketeers 'letting him down' even when it is apparent even to the infant Dauphin that they were the people most instrumental in the rescue of someone or the downfall of the bad guy. It is becoming so predictable and boring. If I wanted tedious TV I would watch re-runs of Jeremy Kyle ! I can only think that it is being set up for Treville to either get killed or leave.

All of that said, I loved the brief Athos/Milday moments and from the next week preview bit am dying to find out what 'charity' he offers her. I do hope it's to share his bed until she can find alternative accommodation ! That would be awesome. Grin

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 21/02/2015 08:00

Rochefort's moobs - didn't exist back in 1989 and don't seem to be there either in 2004 (have been rewatching series 1 of Hustle where MW fails dismally at strip poker). So they are a relatively new addition to the scene I think.

LetUsPrey · 21/02/2015 08:57

Morning wenches.

Carolina - I swear the Dolphin did rolly eyes at Kingy (or would have done if he hadn't already been taken to safety by Aramis) when he thanked Rochefort for saving him.

The bad guy Marmion or whatever he was called reminded me of one of Thor's friends on Asgard, in looks not temperament.

I'm looking forward to a quiet rewatch when I'm in a better frame of mind.

Flopsy28 · 21/02/2015 09:09

Morning all, double football for me today. DD brought me a coffee in bed and a note that said "sorry for not letting you have any free time" so of course I feel like world's worst mum today.

As DH is out all day, I'm defo going to watch last night's episode. Is it suitable for the DC? (7&9) Anyone else watching today, we could coordinate Grin

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 21/02/2015 09:31

Apparently it's Alan Rickman's birthday today. Any Team A intel? TB must be at the celebrations!

AnneOfAramis · 21/02/2015 09:32

Flops, that's lovely of her. DS2 is the king of note writing, but it's just a lovely opportunity to draw a line and have a hug.

DS1 is 9 today as most of you will know. We are going to see a 6ft map at the British Library. He is so my child. Have parents and my cousin and brother around later so will be MIA until tonight. Party is next week and I have to organise the quiz this week. Eek.

Flops they all watched last night and tbh each week I am finding it less and less that they should be but they are huge fans after series 1.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 21/02/2015 09:36

Here's your answer Madame Of course he fucking did Grin

OP posts:
DrinkFeckArseGirls · 21/02/2015 09:41

What's MIA? I'm so much out the loop! can't be Much in Attendance cause that would be complete opposite.

Where is Team Athos and Team Cardinal? Although Aramis did well yesterday tbf. Poor Marguerite, Poor Queen, poorConstance and poor Milady. Women get always shafted and not in a good way.

MavisGrind · 21/02/2015 09:42

Morning all.

Had a rather strange dream that involved David Tennant and burning Manor houses on the Scottish Borders. Wish I could remember more if it, it sounds like my subconscious could be building up to something momentous and if DT changes into Jeremy Renner at the last minute Madame, I'll be sure to let you know

Did Queenie directly refer to Dolphin as "Your son"? I think she did but need to re-watch to check

Oh, and I echo Floppers question about dcs watching this series - my two haven't seen any yet, I'm not quite ready for the 'What are they doing Mama?" for the Athos/Milady cornfield bit. Mind you, they love series one - DC2 is expanding his repertoire of dances for the theme music, newest one involves props (a plastic sword).

Right, off to visit family today. Sun is shining which means, of course, I am reminded how much I need to clean my windows...

Laters my lovelies.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 21/02/2015 09:49

I don't think she did refer to him as "your son" so it's still ambiguous as to what Margeurite knows/suspects. Jess P tweeted last night, do we think she 'knows' yet?

Missing In Action Drink Smile

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 21/02/2015 09:57

No, Quennie said My Son.

MiladyBeaWinter · 21/02/2015 10:00

Morning. Am all caught up now, including the visit from the ghost of wenches past. Just about to venture into Twitter and review land. Then going to try and download on iPlayer for Rewatch and perving purposes. Not much Athos last night but what there was appeared very gooood. Especially the wine is the answer to everything bit with Treville followed by the two of them on the balcony. And the bits with Milady.

Just a thought re the killer stalking the palace. Could it be Mad Mave Catherine?

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/02/2015 10:09

Yes sparkle! I knew it! So much respect to him, for doing that with his vertigo and all. He knows no fear! Sigh. There go two more of my dwindling egg supply.

carolina yep. Im happy to watch for the pretty, but that's all I got out of it this week.

drink MIA = missing in action. Not a wench acronym.

Oh mavis well done to your subconscious for managing to dream about dt show it a pic of jr next time before you go to sleep

Awwww happy birthday annes ds - enjoy your map! Bless.

soup - thanks for the info. I think this is another area for research though. Why would someone get (really quite bad) moob implants? Were they very lacking in definition?

floppers s2 has basically got more violent / bloody (though not extremely so) and nastier. So it depends how sensitive they are really. There were no sexytime bits last night that I recall?

FancyFancy · 21/02/2015 10:28

Morning everyone, checking in quickly before jumping in the shower.

flopsy, no! You are a brilliant parent - you have obviously taught your DD empathy & to think of others Grin. Agree with anne that it's a great opportunity for a big hug & to start the day on a fresh note.

Happy bithday to your DS anne, hope the day goes well

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 21/02/2015 10:38

Norah are you back then? I thought yiy was gone!

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 21/02/2015 11:21

Hello lovely wenches Smile

I didn't dream anything last night, maybe my brain was over heated due to too much lusting yesterday Wink

Was going to work today but Internet Explorer doesn't work, several other have the same problem Angry

Have a lovely day Grin

IssyStark · 21/02/2015 11:24

flopsy I watched with ds1 who is just 8 (not still 7yo as o wrote last night). A bit bloody (in that it shows blood), and plenty of baddies shot, no sex scenes last night but as long as they aren't to sensitive, it should be okay.

Anne Grin at your son's choice, just the sort of thing my ds1 would like as well (in fact he can't wait until he's old enough for the sleepovers at the BM).

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 21/02/2015 11:34

Oh, and if anyone can find a gif of Athos pressing Mylady up against the wall I would be very grateful Grin

Flopsy28 · 21/02/2015 12:24

Thanks everyone for the advice re DC watching. Now I think about it, I might get them through series 1 first and keep this for myself. DH is in briefly later then out again tonight so I'll probably watch later on (8ish?)

Back from TWO football matches, both lost but played great. I turn into some kind of pundit pitch side with bellows of "IT'S YOURS" or "GET ON HIM!" All highly inappropriate I'm sure but one does get swept up in the moment Grin

Well, better see who's screaming now and feed the animals. Layers.

ApricotCrush · 21/02/2015 12:31

Have rewatched this morning.

Milady was fab. Wonderful chemistry between her and Athos.
Too much coin tossing and tearful, ungrateful Kingy and not enough of the boys.

Heroic climbing by Aramis.

Glad they use a real baby and not a doll as they do in some programmes. It's always so obvious.

I also found the Constagnan snog a bit awkward, would they really have done that in full view of everyone?

Best quotes:
'I heard you broke a window' - Athos
'Next time try using the door'- Porthos
'You're welcome' - Milady
and of course the 'come straight back' one.

Your wish is my command WW. Wink

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 21/02/2015 12:40

Thanks Apes Grin

Oooof! In my head that's me and then he kisses me angrily, his lips crushing mine, his hard muscular letherclad body pressing against mine .... I might need a moment ... or several ...

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/02/2015 12:45
DrinkFeckArseGirls · 21/02/2015 12:56

wicked did you see Athos's naked arms in The first series? Grin I love him dearly but muscular he ain't!
