Re the window thing (disclaimer, unless any behind the scenes clips show differently), I reckon Santi went through the sugar glass window on a wire, falling onto a crashmat 6" below the windowledge, and a stuntman did the fall backwards.

Seriously?! The King is so stupid he cannot see that Treville led the Musketeers and saved him and his family and he honestly thinks that Rochefort did it all on his own?

The writers for this series must think we are fucking stupid. The plots are shite so far and we are at Ep 06.

Sorry, but the so called darker themed, sexed up nonsense they gave us before S2 aired to pull in an audience is not being delivered and this 'King bashes Treville and the Musketeers is just getting tiresome. The rescue party consisted of four Musketeers and their ex-captain and Rochefort. Where were Rochefot's red guards or didn't the King notice they all got fucking killed at the start and it was left to the Muskeboys and Milady to do all the rescuing.

This series is not delivering anything but nonsense!

carolina!!!! Where have you been? Have you had the decorator in at all? I agree. That was awful, apart from all the bits with aramis in where I wasnt thinking about the mad story.

DS3 wouldn't go to bed and screamed all the way through. I am going in for a rewatch now.

Trev is onto the Duke of Wybourne Aramis & tells him to 'come straight back' after getting the women to safety

Carolina the King is written as an idiot in the books. He likes Rochefort because he flatters him, and he is a fellow aristo which counts for a lot.

I don't normally go for Aramis, but there were a few moments there where I had a little flutter. Really harsh of him to be so oblivious to Salt there at the end, clearly she's going to be trouble.

Need to rewatch, but I'm inclined to agree with Carolina about the plots. But, sod the plots, I did enjoy it. Great moments between Athos and Milady and when the heck are they going to get together. Some of the humour has come back, "Get the Queen to safety, and Aramis, come straight back".

Enjoyed that. Entirely predictable but who cares? The bit where Aramis just walked by Salt at the end made me go SIOB. Milady is fab. A few excellent lines. Fighty Aramis was properly phwoooaaarrrr.

I'll catch up on the thread tomorrow as Aramis is waiting to take me off to the chateau and I'm going to show him just how restrained I can be

Wow, I didn't think it was awful, I loved it! I was on the edge of my seat, I cried, shouted at the telly, had my heart in my mouth & squuuuuueeeed at the ending.
