I do next , eBay, la redoute etc as well. I have a real mixed bag of sizes and seasons they were born in, so it's just bag it up then see what if anything his suitable and will fit.

1. Does anyone know why Milady killed Thomas? Is it in the books it do we know and I've missed it? Did she want Athos to be the Comte? Did he really try to rape her? Was she trying to get one over on Catherine? Apologies if that very basic knowledge and I've missed it!

Athos is captivated by her and against his family's wishes marries her. While they are out riding one day she falls from her horse and faints. Athos, or Olivier as she knew him, cuts away some of her clothing to help her breathe and discovers the fleur de lys brand that was used to mark a convict on her shoulder. He immediately hangs her from a tree. No murder of his brother is mentioned.

The Comte then leaves behind his former life and assumes the name Athos. He believes his wife dead. As the Comte de la Fere has also in effect ceased to exist on taking up the name Athos and becoming a Musketeer she also assumes that he has died at some point.

It is only when she seduces d'Artagnan and he not only finds the brand but she has also given him a sapphire and diamond ring that had belonged to Athos' mother which d'Artagnan then shows him and tells him of the brand that Athos realises his wife is still alive.
