Mine does nothing round the house. At all. But then that is by agreement as a) he is crap at it and I just get annoyed and b) we made a deal when the DC arrived.

He works in a pretty demanding job. We were both at similar levels when the DC came along and both of us were keen to give up work and be the stay at home parent. It was refreshing for it to be an actual discussion fight over who it would be. I won . But the deal is he works and brings in the income, I do the house and main day to day parenting. I do the finances and fixing stuff too, so it's not all the historic sexist usual division on work. Which is good as he is shite at anything involving tools as well. We share the garden just to keep it on the side of not too overgrown

I'm very diligent when it comes to the kids but am terrible at the house bit. I do have a cleaner and send the ironing out, which I point out is my way of managing it. I never committed to doing it, just to managing it.

And it seems that right now we are going out to massacre hedges with power tools. I just want to sit with coffee and wench, FMG.

Have been MIA due to visitors, going out and general mehness which I shan't bore you with.

It was a cracking episode, really enjoyed it. The Catherine/Mavis comparisons did make me smile however I would be a good, kind and nice aristo who likes peasants and with a great cellar so p'raps Athos would have preferred me to Milady instead.

It must be tremendously hard living with someone with MH issues - like you say, when do the allowances stop and the Get On With It You Twat start?

No, he's off ads at the moment. It's exacerbated by being ill. I've known him for 7 years, been a couple for about 5, so I've developed the ability to know when's he hitting a genuine low. He's naturally a bit of a miserable, but loveable, sod so sometimes it's a bit tricky.

Ah yes, Comtess, I noticed the boy. I think we'll see more of him in the future, maybe S3. I wondered if he was Athos's son too.

As far as housework, cooking and washing up is concerned, I do the lot. But then DH is brilliant at DIY and finding TB and he's always busy doing something in the house and playing golf. We also have a big garden, and I contribute next to nothing there, except to complain when he chops stuff down.

And what is this bookmarking thing? I often see place-marking referred to and I have no idea how to do that.
