so the time is almost here, a week of live episodes and we will find out who killed Lucy, def one of her family and will nasty nick die

Just so everyone's clear and can make suitable arrangements if need be, we find out who the killer is a week tomorrow, thirty years to the day since the first episode was shown.

thanks Southeast, didnt realise the reveal was on Thursday not Friday. I don't need to rehome the DCd next Friday after all.

Can we assume that the killer will be revealed in the 2nd episode on the Thursday?

Spanishfly - I think so. The whole point of the live bits are so that none of the cast would know who did it before next week. So the live bits will be the BIG clues.
I think that the whole week covers just one day ending with the wedding on Friday. But I'm not sure where I read that so it might be wrong.

on the DS spoiler page it says the Lucy beale murder comes to a head in the first hour long episode. Then the flash back episode shows exactly what happened and why.

I used to watch was eastenders religiously but now only watch the odd episode . However this story line has caught my attention . I had a dream a while back Ian was the killer and he would be leaving eastenders . I even looked up the odds and would have had a bet if he was an outsider but he is not ! Would make more sense if it had been a drugs overdose .

I wonder if someone threw the musical box at her - hence why the think it wasn't murder? Then they dumped her body. Hence why it is murder?

That fits in with people's Cindy/ Jane theories.

Another thought!!! Do we actually know she was killed elsewhere and dumped? Or could she have been hurt and taken herself to the common and died there? Again- could fit with the 'it's still murder'.

I'm going to visit friends next week - better tell them I'll be distracted by Enders for an hour or so each night!

I'm pretty sure everyone is a suspect.

I didnt watch EE at the time of the murder so I'm not completely clear on why certain people are even suspects! Could any of you give me some pointers to some episodes or scenes I should look up on youtube to catch up? eg apparently there was a party at Roxy's the night she was killed - is that relevant? And why is Les a suspect? In fact he is currently the favourite with the bookies.

My mom thought months ago when it happened it was the character that had been in the army not sure who that was though as I don't really watch it ?

That would be Lee Kerstina, I also think he's involved somehow, but am sticking with Cindy/Jane for now.

I don't think that Lee is involved. I just don't see how he would be.

But I think a lot of us may be surprised this week!
