so the time is almost here, a week of live episodes and we will find out who killed Lucy, def one of her family and will nasty nick die

Imagine if its just a case of she fell and banged her head. We will all be fuming

I'd be really pissed off with that. And if it's as a result of her earlier altercation with Max. What a cop out that would be.

I said in the previous post that at least half of us will be pissed off regardless of who it is. EE are actually taking a massive risk with making it such an all-consuming storyline

I think Ian or Peter but they don't know. Jane and Denise moved her.

I think Denise and that's why she couldn't leave Ian for so long, because of the guilt. I don't think she meant to though.

I was a bit at Charlie and Roxy. I can't believe I still watch EE. I don't even live in Britain!

I have changed my mind based on the spoilers! I did think Abi or Whitney but I think they probably didn't really like her but would be horrified if anyone thought they had murdered her. Jane disappearing and her behaviour at her wedding has changed my mind!

I'm having a crisis of confidence in my Bobby theory! There's a line in the spoilers where Max goes off to find out if Lauren "really" knows what happened... Makes me wonder if he does know & wants to do damage control. Then there's a bit about how Max calms down because Lauren "can't reveal" what she knows - I'm guessing she thinks to reveal it would do more damage than keeping the secret. That makes me think it's someone she loves, i.e. Max, Abi or Peter... Then again it could be that she's protecting a vulnerable person... A child, perhaps... Aaaaand I'm back to Bobby! Jane's weird behaviour could be fear at how Ian will react to his barely-noticed son & his new wife as the accomplice! [sherlock]

Yes I noticed that about Max - there is also Phil wanting to speak to Ian urgently at the wedding - but that could be about his involvement with nasty nick?

I definitely think it is someone close - Max, Jane or Peter have to be involved in some way.

I don't think it is Ian and would be disappointed if it was.

But then as someone said up thread at least some people are going to be disappointed by the reveal!

Can't wait for the flashback episode so that we can lay lots of our theories to rest!

I'm new to this thread but I'm saying Peter. For no better reason than it would be shocking.

I would have thought Ian, but Ian has been in EE for so long I don't think they'd actually make him a murderer.

I'm sticking with Abi because she's not implicated in spoilers! Plus makes sense with Lauren unable to say. I'm also going with Max knows going back to the comment he said to Abi ages ago about what happened that night stays between them.

I still think its Cindy. They haven't showed her for ages?! No one would think it would be her. Plus if Lauren does know then she may not want to say as she knows she has a baby. The producers said the outcome would be sad so I think its definitely in the family. And she has a nasty streak! Plus if she left the program afterwards it wouldn't be losing a major character.

In the spoilers it says the whole square is shocked by who the murderer is and why Lucy was killed, so it sounds like someone has planned it and the killer will leave. Lucy must have done something bad to have someone kill her.

Re: Bobby being the killer, I just remember how kind Lucy always was to him and vaguely remember her having a heart to heart with the old bobby telling him she loved him. Maybe she was bullying him too, like she was Whitney?

I hope they tell us what Emma meant by "it wasn't there" and "you know" at Max. Whatever it is, Max also knows. I'm changing my guess to Jane the killer and Max helping!

It's on Wednesday but not on Monday. There's 2 episodes on Thursday. An hour long and then half hour flashback episode. The live episodes so on then friday.

I was picking my brains earlier. I could only summarise that Ian did it.

Didn't Lucy take over when Ian became homeless? Did she still have some power over Ian when he came back? Max's gf (forgot her name Topsy and Tims mum) rang the culprit with 'how can they live with themselves'. Although, the shot with her in the scene, in the park, of the murderer leaving, left a polystyrene cup which was chewed/picked at. Who does that?

Also, Lauren in the pub was looking in Peters direction, but he was with Ian at the stag do. Would be a shocker, as Ian has been in it since day one, and could be his exit.

Emma saying "it wasn't there" - I think it must be Janes car, it was outside the Beale house when Denise got back from Oxford but it's not there in fatboys video, then it's back by the following morning. Therefore my guess is Jane did it.

There's a 'case file' in this weeks Inside Soap, and that's where I got the info re janes car.
