Roxy and Charlie are clearly a couple of utter thick-shits. There'll be another (two) murders before the year is out!

AliceinWinterWonderland · 17/02/2015 23:32

I can only assume that Roxy is single handedly trying to have sex with every male on the show..... [hm]

Cooki3Monst3r · 17/02/2015 23:39

I thought the Graham Norton show was cringeworthy last night. DD came across as a complete and utter dick - totally full of himself, ott, pushing himself in to the centre. I can see he might be extremely annoying to work with, particularly if you've been there 30 years!

Letitia was doing an awful lot of pouting.

Adam did a very big eye-roll at DD.

So much for all this 'family' they go on about - looks like your average nightmare workplace full of people you spend far too much time with!!

I thought Kelly Bright was lovely, charming, professional.

Cooki3Monst3r · 17/02/2015 23:41

You can't blame her for Charlie Cotton though. I mean... if you could... Blush

You4coffee · 17/02/2015 23:46

I think it was roly.

okeydonkey · 17/02/2015 23:47

Yeah Ian and Sharon were so offended!!

ButterflySandwich · 18/02/2015 00:06

Did anyone try phoning the number on Emma's notes? I thought about it, but then chickened out!

AGnu · 18/02/2015 00:55

Good past character analysis there Sinister! I hadn't thought about the last time Lauren discovered shocking information. Perhaps her horror at Jane's "mum" conversation was because she realised that Jane was walking into a situation that she was just about to escape from & felt guilty about not warning her too. Or maybe she was trying to suss out if Jane knew anything.

I noticed the hearing-aid conversation too. I wondered if it was significant or just yet another red herring!

badRoly · 18/02/2015 00:59

It wasn't me You4 Wink

differentnameforthis · 18/02/2015 02:34

It was..... LUCY!! Someone said that on Twitter...saying that Hettie's Lucy was an imposter who stole previous Lucy identity, so previous Lucy came back & killed Lucy imposter!

(Does that make sense) While I don't think it's true, it just shows how much this has gripped people.

Still undecided if I should boycott this thread & EE FB page until we get the reveal (in about 2 weeks) or if I should spoil it for myself.. It will take us ages to get the reveal as the channel that airs them here will only do the regular episode time slot, so they break the hour episode up.

differentnameforthis · 18/02/2015 02:57

Tbf I think D D was just trying to be funny and not nasty Snap! He did try to explain, but everyone was speaking over him.

I think he was trying to say, in his mind he could sit back & relax, as getting into EE meant he had 'made it".

It was not meant to be rude to anyone at all.

differentnameforthis · 18/02/2015 03:20

I thought he said 'knows you killed lucy' but it was mumbled so it also kind of sounded 'whether who'. Arggghh

Sounded like "well that you killed Lucy" to me (with earphones on).

Also, just found out that the channel that airs EE here WILL be keeping the same schedule as BBC, in terms of rolling it all out over four nights. But it won't happen til March 2.

SpanishFly · 18/02/2015 06:49

It was definitely "well, that you killed Lucy".

Except it wasnt, cos Thursday is the big reveal.

thekitchenfairy · 18/02/2015 06:52

Every day I have a new theory... But I keep coming back to Bobby, but I don't think Jane helped move the body, maybe Denise...? Or Abbi and Jay?

Far too invested in this, the DCs have gone to my parents for a few days. Never mind a childcare problem solved - I have uninterrupted access to TV for EE all week GrinGrin

SpanishFly · 18/02/2015 07:20

They're going to great lengths to get Denise involved in the past 2 episodes, that's for sure...

Also, a couple of PP mentioned Ben's new hearing aid - WHAT was that all about?? A close-up of something completely irrelevant can't possibly be completely irrelevant.

Justmuddlingalong · 18/02/2015 07:25

Could Ben's old hearing aid have been lost in a struggle/lugging a dead body about?

youarekiddingme · 18/02/2015 07:40

Bens even wearing his hearing aid since the murder. But I agree the mention of Ian's glasses and bens hearing aid may be relevant. Maybe it stopped them seeing or hearing something relevant - maybe that could have prevented Lucys death?

LoveVintage · 18/02/2015 07:43

Could the hearing aid comment just be a nod to things that happened in the past things that Ben has been through, so another red herring. He would have replaced it before now? God who knows, my thinking changes constantly.

But then I do now think after last night that Phil knows something which hadn't occurred to me before and I reckon the only ones he'd help out would be Ben and Jay. Would he help Ian cover something up? Or Sharon? She nearly left him, but stayed. Aaaaargh.

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 18/02/2015 08:01

When Phil got the passport did he say Billy was in the car waiting for Peggy? Is that because he's driving her or something else?

Also if it was Ben's passport it's not much good without Ben, and he was at the wedding. We didn't see Jay though did we?

My only other thoughts were Kathy's alive(but why would they need a passport), Grant needs to borrow Phil's passport for some reason or something to do with Phil's daughter with Lisa. All of which would affect Sharon, I suppose.

Mrsjayy · 18/02/2015 08:09

If Kathy is alive then it would truly have gone bonkers. phil would be getting his own passport he has been in jail and not been back to the house since he got out he is going on the run so he doesn't go dahhhhn for the accident. Poor jake wood is getting a hard time in the papers he didn't fluff his line at all

Mrsjayy · 18/02/2015 08:12

I have seen Ben with his over ear aid a few times since he came back I just thought it was weird mentioning his new hearing aid.

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 18/02/2015 08:17

I don't get the hearing aid thing either. Confused

I didn't even think about Phil going on the run. I didn't think anyone actually did that anymore. Grin

Asifbymagic · 18/02/2015 08:32

Denise's life has certainly gone down the toilet since Lucy's murder, but with Lauren saying it would destroy a family she cares about (I am obsessed with that line - it better be relevant) it doesn't make sense to be Denise. But, I'd prefer it to be her than Ian

Are they hinting Ben's hearing aid got lost/damaged during the murder (or help with moving the body)....

Are they finding out who did it on Thursday and the repercussions or is it just us that find out who did it on Thursday, and then have to wait for them all to find out and hopefully whoever to get punished?

LoveVintage · 18/02/2015 09:15

I am now wondering if it is a Mitchell. Abi I would care because of Ben. But I can't remember where any of them were on the night, May have to watch it again. Thankfully I am working from home today Wink

SpanishFly · 18/02/2015 09:19

Phil must have info about either Kathy or Grant - or the baby Michelle and Grant had together
