Definitions here www.cps.gov.uk/legal/h_to_k/homicide_murder_and_manslaughter/#murder I need to get out more Grin

Fakebook · 15/02/2015 12:23

Jacqueline Jossa's last scenes were filmed with Ben Hardy at Lucy's graveside. There is no mention of them visitig her grave in next week's episodes. I think they've filmed an ending for the whole thing where Lauren and Peter say goodbye to Lucy and leave together or Lauren leaves. Therefore for this reason, I think Peter can't be the killer.

Southeastdweller · 15/02/2015 12:33

But that doesn't mean that scene will actually be broadcast, does it?

RitaOrange · 15/02/2015 12:38

I don't understand "Its still murder"
What was said before hand
? "Im sorry" " I didnt mean to do it "???

Fakebook · 15/02/2015 12:44

No, but it might be. They've rehearsed 15 endings for the live bits and filmed everything else. It has to be shown somewhere. Bit of a waste to discard filmed scenes.

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 12:46

We didn't hear what was said Rita I think that's just another thing to make us speculate!

fakebook yes, I'd forgotten about that scene. Well I kept remembering it and wondered why we hadn't seen it and then forgot! Thats a good point that it doesn't seem to 'fit' into next weeks episodes as we know they are in wedding finery for most of it! I would love Peter and Lauren to have a happy ever after (well as much as they can after the past 10 months!) - I've always liked their characters.
Them leaving because of the reveal matches up with the characters never being the same and relationships changing too.
That also sticks with it being a Branning or a Beale.

TidyDancer · 15/02/2015 12:47

I don't think we can take much from the photos of Lucy, Jay and Peter filming on the bus and Walford Common. Presumably part of the flashback will be of Peter buying drugs and Ben and Jay robbing that newsagents because it will be about filling in timelines for more than just Lucy. They will need to explain away why/how people weren't involved in the murder but why little ambiguous hints were dropped over the last 10 months.

I really honestly can't see the murderer being a Beale.

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 12:47

I keep hypothesising other characters but I still think it's Abi.

TidyDancer · 15/02/2015 12:51

I would still like to know about Jane putting something under the floorboards at the Beale house. I don't know if I missed an episode or it's yet to be explained.

Southeastdweller · 15/02/2015 12:53

She put Lucy's phone under the floorboards for some reason that's yet to be explained.

TidyDancer · 15/02/2015 12:59

Oh thanks Southeast. :)

I thought all the stuff with the phone was resolved though? The secret being that the unsent text to Peter revealed him as the drug go-between. Weird that Jane would hide it. Also I'm sure it looked like she was putting some kind of cloth there as well. Maybe the phone was wrapped in it?

Grrrr this is all bothering me too much now!

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 13:21

It was Lucy's purse and phone - that might have been they cloth thing you saw?

TidyDancer · 15/02/2015 14:12

In one photo you can see what Jane has in her hand and is putting under the floorboards. In the other one is Cora phoning the police to report Max for having the blood stain at the car lot. You can see a small bag in the background and I thought it might be that (looks too light though).

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 14:16

I thought what Jane put under the floor boards was just wrapped in a plastic bag?

Fakebook · 15/02/2015 14:20

Yes wasn't it a red and white coloured carrier bag that Jay used to "tidy up" Patricks house. He put the purse and phone in it and they remained in there. Looks like the same bag in the first pic.

TidyDancer · 15/02/2015 14:34

Ah okay, that makes sense, thank you! I think I'm just looking for reasons to suspect Jane of something since everyone seems to think she's guilty!

misstiredbuthappy · 15/02/2015 17:34

Are some of you in the police ? If not you should be Grin

BreathingDeeply · 15/02/2015 17:41

We do have to remember that Emma Summerhayes wasn't the sharpest tool in the box, was she?? It must have been difficult trying to balance that job with looking after 5yo twins at home Grin

Anyway, I took "it's still murder" as a response to "but I didn't mean to kill her". But of course, it wouldn't still be murder, it would be manslaughter.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/02/2015 17:53

Just read that when nicks body is found next week, they're going recreate the first ever scene of eastenders and use the same sound aswell. 3 characters will break the door into the house same way as it was done 30 years ago. Look forward to that!

Mrsjayy · 15/02/2015 19:49

I wonder who will kick the door in originally it was Den Ali osmond and pete beale (I think)

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/02/2015 19:50

prob alfie and mick and maybe max will do the kicking down of the door

bets anyone????

OP posts:
Mrsjayy · 15/02/2015 19:52

I reckon Ian Mick and Alfie or Masood

Mrsjayy · 15/02/2015 19:53

Max looks seethrough atm he would probably turn to dust if he kicked anything in

Southeastdweller · 15/02/2015 19:55

Am so pissed off there's no episode tomorrow - this is the third time this year E.E's been interrupted because of damn sport, isn't it?

And the Graham Norton show is on too late! It'll be nice to watch it eventually as I'm curious to know what Adam Woodyatt and Letitia Dean are like...they rarely give TV interviews. Hopefully Shane Ritchie won't take over.
