Could it be Mick Carter? Or a nick Cotton? We know he's leaving!

Cooki3Monst3r · 14/02/2015 22:34

Just watched it. Ben Hardy getting in to that car, I'm not sure that's a scene being filmed, I think that might be RL. That big puffa coat is wearing is one of those BBC issue ones they all wear inbetween takes. Isn't it??

Of course, he's still there.

Doing my f'ing head in. Confused

Cooki3Monst3r · 14/02/2015 22:35

I can't believe there's not an episode on Monday.

Do you think it'll be a nasty come-down when it's all over? Like when you finish a really good book.

afreshstartplease · 14/02/2015 22:40

I thought there was a Monday episode!

Sure I saw it advertised earlier!

Cooki3Monst3r · 14/02/2015 22:49

No, next one is 17th - Tuesday! Sad

I think there's a special Graham Norton thing on, on Monday.

Eastenders - we WILL find out who killed Lucy......
afreshstartplease · 14/02/2015 22:51

Cooki3Monst3r · 14/02/2015 23:13

FOOTBALL?!?!?!?!?!? BLOODY FUCKING FOOTBALL?!??!?!?

AngryAngryAngry

WienerDiva · 14/02/2015 23:13

Me and DH have not stop talking about this and have been watching the trailer etc to try to figure things out.

My conclusion is........

I still haven't got the bloody foggiest!

I need to know. It's consuming far too much of my brain and time now.

This thread is moving so fast now - stupid 'real' life keeps getting in the way!

On that link, during the press conference Keeble states that they're estimating T.O.D. to be between 9.30pm & midnight - that'll be why they've only been asking where people were before they went to bed & not checking who had someone else sleeping in the same room as an alibi all night. I've added that to my [sherlock] document.

I suspect the thing with the Cokers will involve their grandson. A while ago Les was on the phone with him having a go that he was letting them down again & made some comment about how he hadn't visited on Good Friday. I'm wondering if he could be both Peter/Lucy & Nick's dealer. Would be a good way to bring him into it. Seems odd that they would've specified that he was due to visit that day if he wasn't going to feature at all!

One thing that I noticed on the recap video was the way Ian said "Lucy died". Not "Lucy's dead" but that she'd died... Reminds me of my DS1 when he's playing with something & it breaks. He knows perfectly well how it happened but he'll still come wailing to me that it broke! That alone has put Ian back into the very over-thought frame for me. Maybe something happened with Lucy that he thought she would recover from & someone else covered it up after Ian had left.

differentnameforthis · 15/02/2015 03:04

Peter getting into the car is him buying drugs for Lucy

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 07:43

I also noted the TOD (hence the missing hours 10-8) and that Ian said Lucy died.

Good thinking about coats. That's confuded me more!

I said before, and will mention it again - could Danny (Lucys ex) be the Cokers grandson? Interestingly when talking my friend last night she said he's 12:1 or something on betting stakes too!

JollyFrog · 15/02/2015 07:59

Its not on on monday. Thursdays episode is a flashback of the night before lucy was killed and the live episode isnt till friday Hmm
how much longer can they drag it out!

I suddenly had an inkling it might have been Nick?!
Im going to stop guessing now as I been through the whole cast.

Fakebook · 15/02/2015 08:20

Months ago someone said they though Lauren was like Jack sparrow swinging about and moving her eyes weirdly when talking and I've never taken her seriously again! Shes on jack sparrow form again recently.

Looking forward to graham norton. I bet Shane Ritchie will be acting like a right twat though. I really do not like him.

Rockinghorse123 · 15/02/2015 08:53

I've been lurking on the last few threads so thought I'd join in for live week.

I change my mind daily as to who done it. I definitely think Jane is involved though!

Excited to see how it pans out this week

RitaOrange · 15/02/2015 09:09

Well I had a dream last night and Lucy died because they all tuned away/rejected her from her and didn't help.( she died of the head injury from the fall)
Shock

Hence Ians "Lucy died"

RitaOrange · 15/02/2015 09:10

too many her in that -sorry !

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 09:31

Not a bad theory Rita.

Relating it to timeline:

Lucy hits head at car lot
Goes on bus to meet client.
Brings home a drunken Jake - hence blood in flat.
Discovers missing wallet and purse.
Goes home.
Someone comes in and there's an argument - pics of lucy looking worried.
It's peter? Has the drugs for her?
Lucy has an epiphany - gets music box she keeps drugs in. But decides to stop after a twin heart to heart?
Someone returns home to find Lucy dead on Sofa? (Jane? Ian? Peter? Denise?)
Dumps Lucys body at the common.

Hence - it's still murder?

Chipstick10 · 15/02/2015 09:41

I don't think it was nick. He confessed all to dot just before he pegged it and surely he would've bragged that he killed Lucy if he had. I'm bored of it already and I think it's going to be ludicrous and a disappointment. I also get the feeling that they (the writers) just cobbled together an outcome. Kind of making it up as they go along.

RitaOrange · 15/02/2015 09:43

What if the head injury made her act high or drunk?
she asks /pleads for help but the people she has been vindictive to in the past and her own family reject her.

It would fit with the Stenders we are all "neighbourly" 30 year anniversary thing.
Ie "It isn't the same anymore now, the square has changed"

How would it be murder though ?

VashtaNerada · 15/02/2015 09:49

I love that theory and think there's something in it, but Emma definitely says "it's still murder" and as a DC she should know the legal definition!

Brutalista · 15/02/2015 09:55

Isn't tanya supposed to be coming back?

youarekiddingme · 15/02/2015 11:10

But is not helping a dying person and then dumping their body - 'still murder?' Especially if there was a physical argument before. Even if the head injury was from max and the car lot?

The80sweregreat · 15/02/2015 11:16

going by some pictures I've seen online, its safe to say lucy did go back home and was looking at her laptop. if she was killed at the Beales, whoever dumped her body had to have a car. This is what Emma realised was missing, someones car. It still all points to her brother, he was getting her the drugs, he was jealous because Ian said lucy was his favourite child and may even have seen her with Max ( someone did) and was disgusted by her behaviour ( despite becoming her dealer). He comes home with the drugs and they have a fight / row and she somehow ends up injured ( he hits her with the music box, she already has internal bleed from falling at the car lot with max a few days beforehand - makes it worse? ) it doesn't explain why emma said to max 'you know' - maybe peter had confronted him about lucy?

Peter is going out of the series I think too. Maybe lauren will cover up for him and the two of them will go off - the actress is pregnant so will have to be written out of it soon even if she is pregnant as lauren, she is further ahead in her pregnancy in real life than in the soap.

still, only a few more days and it will be revealed. I doubt whoever did it will go to prison anyway. Its similar to the who killed Archie storyline, stacy disappeared on a plane with Lily and only went to prison because she confessed years later ( then got out again!)
probably all wrong, usually am with these mysteries despite reading thrillers and murder mystery books all the time.!
