She's still living at home though and has managed a few conversations with her dad and Abi. She has avoided the Beales completely compared to her own family.

Could Ian's lack of glasses have anything to do with this? I remember Lucy telling him a few times before she died that he needed to get his eyes checked. They really made a point of it. Could Ian have meant to kill someone else (maybe Lola?) and killed her by accident?
In the spoiler pics she is sitting at home writing something so she could be talking to Ian, Jane, Cindy, Peter or Bobby.

I watched the video and it's just brought up more questions. I hope they show the conversation between Emma and the killer in the park.

They've apparently rehearsed 15 endings so actors have no idea which one it'll be on the night until 30mins before show time!

RitaOrange · 14/02/2015 15:11

Ah Ok that fits with either Bobby , Ian or Denise doing it with Jane covering up then.
Unless someone else took Janes car...

Im still going with Denise, she has unravelled slowly over the past few years . Going from bubbly Denise to beating PatrickSad
She has become a much darker and, as Jane said, a bitter character.
She should have run off with FatBoy

Nancy66 · 14/02/2015 15:13

on all the publicity stuff the BBC are sending to press there's a portrait of: jane, Ian, Peter. which suggests they want you to think it's one of them. Could be a red herring

TidyDancer · 14/02/2015 15:18

Max replied "what wasn't there?" when Emma said "it wasn't there". She then turned and very pointedly said "you know". So regardless of who actually did it, Emma must've realised Max knew something, even if he wasn't aware of it at the time. I did wonder if she was talking about his car rather than Jane's and she'd realised it wasn't at the house during the 'missing hours'. I really don't know how the phone number on that piece of torn paper fits in though. The SOC reference number might refer to something else in the file that made Lauren connect it all.

What I do find weird is why the Cokers were ever suspects. It would be a cop out and very disappointing if it turned out to be such peripheral characters that were involved.

It's possible I've thought about this too much....

AnneEyhtMeyer · 14/02/2015 15:21

Just watched that overview on iPlayer.

I now think it was all of them! Grin

I really don't think it would be Ian, because in soaps everyone always gets their comeuppance, and I can't imagine Ian ever leaving.

Most likely to be Jane because Ian and weddings don't go well together.

But mostly I think it is Abi or Denise.

Southeastdweller · 14/02/2015 15:22

Rita is right - Emma said 'it wasn't there' - I just rewatched it with subtitles.

RitaOrange · 14/02/2015 15:25

Me too Tidy am obsessed Grin

badRoly · 14/02/2015 15:39

I'm with you Rita, I said Denise on the last thread and still think her.

As an aside, is it me or does Jane look different/odd? I don't know if it was too much make up or what but she just looked slightly odd last night.

Oh you mean miss hearing what Emma said Blush.

I thought you were going to inject yourself, not clean your ears out Confused

youarekiddingme · 14/02/2015 15:53

I think it's a reference to ear syringe as she misheard what Emma said Grin

What envelope? Last night?

I really must pay more attention, I feel slightly ashamed of my lack of dedication in that I watch the episode (sometimes half watching), delete and wait for the next one!

I see all the links on these threads but never remember to click in them...

afreshstartplease · 14/02/2015 15:58

.

buddhasbelly · 14/02/2015 17:13

Just out of interest, would you all have preferred it if either A) there had been enough clues for you to solve the murder before the big reveal to the rest of the EE cast or B) there were only some clues but not enough to actually solve the murder thus making these clues in a sense pointless? I don't know if that makes much sense but thought I'd ask!

buddhasbelly · 14/02/2015 17:13

but also on B) adding a lot more suspense to revealing the killer iyswim!

Cooki3Monst3r · 14/02/2015 17:47

Anne has suggested that the culprit will get their comeuppance and therefore it can't be Ian as he won't be leaving.

However, I read somewhere that the producers had said that although the truth will come out, it might not be a straight forward 'here's the murderer, lock 'em up' scenario. I think it might not even be murder. Manslaughter?

Also, although we'll be given all the details int he 30 mins flashback after Thursday's live show, I don't think that necessarily means that all will be revealed to the characters in EE world.

No actor other than JJ is due to leave. I don't personally think it's her though.

But either way, I don't think anyone is going to prison.

Southeastdweller · 14/02/2015 17:57

Peter is leaving Cook.

RedCrayons · 14/02/2015 18:23

Jane is still my prime suspect, though I'm adding Denise as my second guess.

I can't see it being Ian mainly because I don't think Adam Woodyatt will be leaving any time soon.

RedCrayons · 14/02/2015 18:24

If its the Cokers I'm never watching again. I'll have to take up Corrie and Emmerdale.

Harverina · 14/02/2015 18:40

Worra I Am also looking forward to Monday night!

I kinda want it over with now too. Although I am still excited it is taking a bit long now. Lauren's "eye acting" is a bit pathetic too and annoyed me.

Not sure how Dot will get arrested - how would anyone know she supplied the heroin to him?
