Fancy I know - I was at the last international match at the Arms Park, and the first international game at the Millennium Stadium, and a few other momentous occasions Grin Uni and Cardiff and a Welsh father will do that!

Actually what I really hope is that it's a good enough match to warrant missing an episode of The Musketeers for!!

Baddz · 05/02/2015 16:10

I support Ireland in the 6 nations do I shall be singing the fields of athenry Grin

FancyFancy · 05/02/2015 16:21

Snap at the Welsh dad alibabs! That sounds awesome being there for those occasions.

No chance the game'll be worth missing TM for though (Don't tell my dad Grin)

I shall listen out for you badders - sing up so we can hear you!

Baddz · 05/02/2015 18:10

Ds1 is having a TM re watch, bless him.
Tom just did the "it felt good" line
Ooooof

BloodyElkFire · 05/02/2015 18:16

Bloody good on you Badds It's a disgrace that budget cuts are putting kids lives in danger

Fucking loathsome Tories Angry

Baddz · 05/02/2015 18:19

I am so fucking tempted to do Helens high viz jacket and hairdryer plan :)
I am livid.
Petty bloody bureaucrats putting kids lives at risk.

Baddz · 05/02/2015 18:24

Now rochefort is outlining his cunning plan to kill the king.
I have been musing on the boys uniforms.
Porthos looks the most military I think. Chain mail?
Aramis and Treville have the best coats. Very swishy.
Athos and his hat, obv.
And little dog with his new pauldron. Bless.

LaComtess · 05/02/2015 18:59

Evening wenchi

How are we all? .

No call yet then Badders ref job? How very rude of them. Grrr.

I have just had a right giggle about Mavis's dream and the conversation about Santi having work done. Just very funny. Glad you didn't steal my Tom Sex Dream tho. Which yes Apricot I am still enjoying Grin.

(Btw ref Apprentice L I figured it was something like that).

I cannot BELIEVE this whole fucking two week wait thing. I'm sooooooo ready for a Athos Heavy Week. Fuck you BBC. Fuck you.

Badders I figured you'd be Ireland. Lovely to know Wales have a decent wench base . Who else is Wales???
I'll certainly be belting out Mae hen wlad fy nhadau tomorrow. (Well... I only really know the first two lines and the Gwlad, gwlad bit but I think that's true for most people... Grin)

Who watched Wolf Hall last night? I thoroughly enjoyed it I must say.

Carolina2015 · 05/02/2015 19:04

Evening all. Just home after working late shift. I hate late shift. Waste of fucking time. The phones you are supposed to cover on late shift never ring. WHY?!

Never mind. Home now.

All the poorly people with coughs and snuffles need some love so sending your way peeps.

Baddz How is DS1 rewatching Ep 01? iPlayer is telling me it has 'expired'

Baddz · 05/02/2015 19:21

I have recorded them on our TiVo box :)
I keep getting a no caller id on my phone - hmmm...I assume if it was the job they would leave a message? I keep getting harassed by charities and ppi and bloody British gas for some reason so I don't answer it if I don't know the number.
LOVE the welsh anthem Comtesse. Very rousing :)
I watched WH. Am enjoying it very much. Loved the books too. Have to say I have a couple of issues though;
Anne Boleyn had dark eyes. Eustace chapyus said they were her best feature. Claire foy has blue eyes!
Anton lesser is just NOT Thomas more. Bad casting.
Loved JP as Wolsey.
MC as TC is a revelation! Marvellous.
Pains me to say it but last night I thought DL was a bit rochefort Panto villain. I love him usually.
I think the girl playing Mary Boleyn is very good.
Ditto the duke of Norfolk.
Where is John fisher!?

ApricotCrush · 05/02/2015 19:45

We watched Wolf Hall and I'm enjoying it very much. Not having read the books, I don't notice any anomalies. I thought the scene between Cromwell and his sister-in-law when he called her by his wife's name was very poignant. Very well acted by both. DH went to sleep so will be re-watching tonight. And yes, Comtess there is something about Mark Rylance. But Damian Lewis, definitely no, I keep seeing Brody in costume.

Nuisance calls, yes, we seem to be getting a lot more. One of them asked me if I was receiving an increase in unwanted marketing calls, and I said 'Yes, this one' and put the phone down. We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I don't think they can monitor calls from overseas.

MavisGrind · 05/02/2015 19:46

Evening all.

I watched, and enjoyed, Wolf Hall. I haven't read the books but I might do, I've read others by her and enjoyed them.

Hope the illing wenches are feeling a little less snuffly.

I'm toying with the idea of doing a charity thing in the summer. Can't decide whether or not to sign up. It's a minimum fund raise of £500. I don't know, will have to have a think.

There's nothing on the tv tonight or tomorrow either .

God, this has just turned into a random train of thought post Hmm Grin

Better put the kettle on.

Carolina2015 · 05/02/2015 19:46

Aahhh... that explains it.

I don't answer if I don't know the number either. It's a good policy. If it's really someone who needs to speak with you they'll leave a message and let you call them back.

Carolina2015 · 05/02/2015 19:48

No sugar in mine Mavis and I'll have a chocolate hob nob if you have some!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/02/2015 19:48

Also enjoying Wolf Hall and read the books a while ago.

Bed time for DS now

MavisGrind · 05/02/2015 20:05

No hob nobs I'm afraid Carolina - can I offer you some haribo that I liberated from the dcs and put in my own secret stash?

I cba to do anything this evening. I ought to force myself to do something

Baddz · 05/02/2015 20:06

Bedtime for dc and me
Might re watch WH Smile

Carolina2015 · 05/02/2015 20:11

I suppose haribo will do if there's no hob nobs.

I have been craving chocolate hob nobs for a couple of days now but am trying to resist buying a packet coz I know I will sit and munch my way through at least 1/4 pack before I stop.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/02/2015 20:53

I ate nearly a whole packet fo Hotel Chocolate 70% dark chocolate this afternoon. Blush

Where is everyone tonight? It's that usual thing isn't it - I'm about on MN and no-one else is. then I'll go to bed and everyone else will arrive. Hey ho hum.

FurFoxAke · 05/02/2015 20:54

Evening! You are very strong there fancy, I wouldn't stop at just 1/4 pack of hob nobs I'm afraid. Just not possible. Grin
Hope everyone is ok? I'm actually a bit sad there's no musketeers on tomorrow. Ah well...

FurFoxAke · 05/02/2015 20:56

Oooh, maybe at the end of the month if all goes well I'll have some dark chocolate and clotted cream as a small treat.
