It's back on Thursday! here. No details of contestants yet. How many men this time? Any?

Ten sewers, six weeks, can't wait!

(Can't think of another word for sewers at the moment, wish I could!)

yes it is nearly over.

Tonight is lace and satin and the final challenge is a leather jacket Shock. I remember once making a fringed suede handbag. OMG you'e never seen such a monstrosity!

And two are going tonight awwwww.

I hate the way they've shortened the show by getting rid of two at a time. If only their do that with crap things that drew on and on... :(

Roussette · 05/03/2015 17:30

Totally agree Soupy. They flog the livin' daylights out of complete rubbish and it goes on and on... X Factor is on half the year isn't it?! Yet this sneaks in at just six weeks, most frustrating!

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 05/03/2015 17:54

I don't understand why they've shortened it. Was last year not popular enough?

Roussette · 05/03/2015 18:31

Exactly!

However, they can make up for it by putting Patrick in leather trousers Grin

EATmum · 05/03/2015 19:03

I will be so sad to see it over for another year.

SoupDragon · 05/03/2015 19:17

Leather trousers would only work if he grew his beard back. I worry that he'd look like a member of village people otherwise.

Roussette · 05/03/2015 19:33

Grin How right you are, Soup!

iklboo · 05/03/2015 19:33

I now have a vision of Patrick as a New Romantic in leather & lace - and just a touch of eyeliner. Wibble.

Roussette · 05/03/2015 19:44

Oooh yes ikiboo and a frilled shirt - a bit of a fop Grin

if he wears leather trousers tonight, I'm gonna think I'm psychic

LIZS · 05/03/2015 19:44

I thought I saw him recently on tv with a beard.

Roussette · 05/03/2015 19:49

He's read this thread and taken note! Grin

However, this has been the kick a friend and I needed to actually get ourselves to start running classes. We've got lots of lists, are just in the process of finding a venue and trying to find out from others what the first course should be Grin

Halsall · 05/03/2015 20:02

Evening, all!

Roussette · 05/03/2015 20:04

Evenin' Halsall Smile

I'm going to love seeing what they do with this. I had a lovely lace pencil skirt, black with cream satin lining too fat for it now damn

Halsall · 05/03/2015 20:07

I don't have a good relationship with twin needles. Interested to see how this turns out. Wouldn't you use a walking foot for slippery satin and lace?

Roussette · 05/03/2015 20:14

Quite likely Halsall, but I've never sewn anything like this...

Love all the colours but the purple which looks garish but need to see it finished..

OP posts:
Roussette · 05/03/2015 20:18

Oh dear, Neil losing his grip on it...

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 05/03/2015 20:22

Neoprene dresses?!

bluelamp · 05/03/2015 20:23

What do we think? Paul to go I think from previous weeks?

SoupDragon · 05/03/2015 20:24

Is Lorna making a breastfeeding dress?

Roussette · 05/03/2015 20:25

I think Paul will be lucky to stay. But what do I know Grin

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 05/03/2015 20:26

I think Paul will go too.

Roussette · 05/03/2015 20:27

Oh no! Paul has taken out the wrong sleeve!

OP posts:
bluelamp · 05/03/2015 20:45

I want a leather jacket! but not Pauls Do you think a dumpy 40 something could get away with it?
