Sewing Bee! Mannequins at the ready!

It's back on Thursday! here. No details of contestants yet. How many men this time? Any?

Ten sewers, six weeks, can't wait!

(Can't think of another word for sewers at the moment, wish I could!)

One thing that is worrying me is usually these shows put an advert out at the end of the last episode for new contestants. Bake Off does it, Masterchef does it but there was no advert at the end of Sewing Bee.

Does this mean they don't know if they'll commission another series? I had thought that with the celebrity sewing bee it was becoming mainstream enough that it's continuation was guaranteed.

They only made one series of the British Project Catwalk IIRC. SIL is a professional designer and I would love love love her to have greater recognition (she works for a company so nothing has her name on). She wouldn't be allowed on GBSB though, I assume.

We only see ten minutes of a sewing challenge, some of them are three-hours long so I can understand Claudia being bored at times just standing around!
