It's back on Thursday! here. No details of contestants yet. How many men this time? Any?

Ten sewers, six weeks, can't wait!

(Can't think of another word for sewers at the moment, wish I could!)

Yes indeedy, Roussette Shock

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:26

Oh what a great challenge - an outfit out of old curtains (with the Sound of Music going on in the background)

Love the walk away dress wish I could sew

TeacupDrama · 19/02/2015 20:30

Ryan's shirt fabric is great in a weird way , skirts too obvious not very imaginative

21pc · 19/02/2015 20:30

On a non sewing note does anyone know where I can get a shirt like the presenter?

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:31

like Claudia 21 pc?

Envy

I can't watch this today - stuck upstairs trying to settle a grumpy, under-the-weather, possibly teething baby.

Keep the comments coming please everyone!

BOFster · 19/02/2015 20:35

Lorna is one to watch, I think.

21pc · 19/02/2015 20:36

Yes sorry didn't know her name. The striped oversiE shirt she's wearing

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:36

Lorna has won this! She will be delighted as she's come 2nd twice. Lovely transformations. Tomorrow is the big challenge.... waiting to hear what!

Hope baby settles Miss Smile

I don't know but doesn't she look lovely, it's just her style 21pc.

The razzmatazz skirt was a bit of a dog's dinner, I think. I don't think you can get away with bizarre ruffles on such a heavily-patterned fabric.

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:38

This is what I've been waiting for. Sheer fabric. 50's style blouse.

I couldn't even begin to make anything like this and all fitted to a model.

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:39

Yes BOF and didn't they say NO different fabric but the curtains?

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:40

Army Neil says it's his idea of hell, it would be mine too!

Clever technique from Ryan. I'm rooting for him this series, I think. I just just love seeing someone so young show so much talent.

LIZS · 19/02/2015 20:42

He's really starting to show skill.

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:44

Agree BOF and he seems so modest too.

I am absolutely loving some of these blouses, live sheer fabrics, so pretty.

BOFster · 19/02/2015 20:45

I have to say that I don't much like Paul's taste in clothes- all the fabrics he's chosen so far have been a bit . Is he the one who dressmakes for drag artists?

LIZS · 19/02/2015 20:45

Sheer interfacing ? Pin tuck foot ?

21pc · 19/02/2015 20:47

It's nice I'll go ask over on s&b!

Roussette · 19/02/2015 20:47

They're back on the modern machines. Neil's material is just like a blouse I used to have years ago.

Not sure on Paul!

BOFster · 19/02/2015 20:51

It's all just a bit Auntie Mabel, iykwim?

BOFster · 19/02/2015 20:52

See, Amanda's blouse is so much more attractive- same style but in a plain fabric.
