After a day of not eating carbs except toast at breakfast I have just refused the biryani that DH has offered me and an sipping my wine and eating chick peas which I know contain carbs but not as much as biryani--

chick peas have loads of fiber i think so that sort of excuses you. that's good carbs anyway. the thing is if you want to make a lasting difference you have to cut the carbs out at first and then slowly re-introduce them.

so now I have weaned myself of carbs and lost all that weight (16kg?), my body can tolerate more carbs now than before. I'm not talking dairy milk but If I wanted I could slowly re-introduce beans and pulses (def no bread or grains though).
