I'm not liking Milady so much this series - she's more at the mercy of the blokes, last time although she was the Cardinal's creature she seemed to be much more her own woman. And she looks a bit 'done' this series.

Loved the scene with Athos and Milady, he does still love her.

Athos valiantly supervising the cold turkey was superb.

Agree that the best line was the soup one.

Finally finished watching it.

Really enjoyed that. Lots of moments.

Briefly (because am very tired off to the chateau with Aramis) loved everything Aramis did and said. Dog and Connie in the tavern. Milady and Athos. Anne and Connie's conversation. ARAMIS AND ANNE KISSING. Milady sticking up for Treville. I'm not warming to Rochefort IYSWIM. King is still a knob. There's probably loads more and I'll be rewatching with DH and DS1 with less tired eyes and brain hopefully.

I think that might be one of my fave eps too. I can't believe I missed the nipple rolling, thank fuck for you lot. It's going to be one hell of a rewatch

I suppose the pub bit could be seen as slashy, but I just took at as the start of Athos coming apart at the seams. He's just been eavesdropping on dog/con discussing milady being the kings mistress after all, then the camera pan upwards and away after the Dog: wine?........Athos: yeah (in a really flat voice).... Meant to highlight his loneliness I thought.
