My tivo planner has episodes scheduled for next week though. Unless they're rerun Revisited(s)

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 13/02/2015 09:58

Had his social life???!!! Wow.

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 13/02/2015 09:59

oh noes

this is going to leave a big hole in my life

I'll have to get shit done instead

Sad
Batmam · 13/02/2015 10:00

'Secretly' want him there??

Can't believe the pressure they're putting on the poor lad. He'll soon start ignoring their Skype calls...

dillite · 13/02/2015 10:01

What does he need friends for when he has his mother?

getdownshep · 13/02/2015 10:15

I bet his gf is relieved she's gone, be a nightmare mil.

shakemysilliesout · 13/02/2015 10:27

This episode has really upset me. Separating siblings, leaving their son. It's awful. At the beginning sonny said how happy he was with life- what we all wouldn't give for a teenager like that! Enjoying life, work, friends, as a parent that is all you want. And she took it for granted. I wish we had ended this series on a high.

Anyway- I'm gonna miss you guys- this thread is better than the show.

Next series I'd like nickys hair a bit less blonde. Just more subtle.

Damnautocorrect · 13/02/2015 10:33

I think they might be a bit naive about him following them out there. Wont be long before he's married with babies and won't be able to pull the 'student card' to go. Loved the sons little cat. I did think the pressure she was putting on him was quite hard. At 19 he's an adult with a his own life.

Vagndidit · 13/02/2015 10:38

Oooooh, another telling off from the WDU Facebook team...

"Hi everyone, just a quick note about etiquette on the Wanted Down Under page. We welcome feedback and criticism of the show ..However, we can't and won't tolerate personal attacks on our contributors. We're very grateful to all the families that take part in Wanted Down Under - without them, we couldn't make the show. Making a decision to move to the other side of the world is a massive one. We...feel every family deserves the right to make that decision without criticism. Please let's keep it friendly"

shakemysilliesout · 13/02/2015 10:43

Very naive. But I think they'll go home anyway- the dad looked sad.

I wish ppl who wanted to go at 19 would just go rather than dwell on it for 20 yrs and ditch their kids.

Before I married my husband we had a marriage course at our church. Everyone should do one to hammer out the Australia issue before getting hitched!! We talked about dreams/ money/ etc in the course, not Jesus.

ssd · 13/02/2015 11:12

can't believe they'd leave their son behind, whats wrong with these people?

horrible horrible bastards parents

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 13/02/2015 11:53

The dad is replying to people on Facebook. I think there's been a lot of deleting.

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 13/02/2015 13:43

I'm gonna miss you guys- this thread is better than the show

Amen to that. Loved your work, laydees Flowers

meglet · 13/02/2015 14:06

catching up with this.

She reminds me of the woman on the Fast Show who talks over her husband all the time..... "what did I say Roy".

Vagndidit · 13/02/2015 14:20

From the looks of Facebook, the dad is a real piece of work. Links to an anti-Islam tshirt and slagging off anyone who disagrees with him. Looks like he worked away from the family for Christmas too...

I shall miss this little thread! I may now have to be productive after the school run. Roll on Jan 2016! Grin

Davros · 13/02/2015 15:57

When I was 17 my parents moved to te Mudlands from London and left me and my two older sisters dahn sarf to fend for ourselves. Ok, I had a great time but in the long run, we've never forgiven them for abandoning us and it made both my sisters embark on unsuitable relationships that got too serious due to not having parents/home to go to, I found solace in gigs, clubbing and grog!

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 13/02/2015 20:49

What the hell did I miss??!

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 16/02/2015 09:29

Morning! I remember this couple, very odd she couldn't get a nursing job in Scotland Hmm

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 16/02/2015 09:31

I felt sorry for them at first (especially the boy) but their constant wining is getting to me now!

WilsonWilsonWoman · 16/02/2015 09:31

It's back!

WilsonWilsonWoman · 16/02/2015 09:32

That last house had a lot of potential, they were closed to it as soon as they walked through the door!

Jackieharris · 16/02/2015 09:33

They are way too picky about houses!

They are obviously the kind of people who only like showhomes.

WilsonWilsonWoman · 16/02/2015 09:35

I wish people would stfu about not being able to 'do these things in the uk' I have many, many happy memories of growing up outdoors, at the beach, in the country side, at the fucking park. It's infuriates me!!!! Kagoul and wellies = great day out, whatever the bleeding weather!!!

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 16/02/2015 09:40

wilson I know! Okay its cold in Scotland we geddit! Someone better tell all the tourists to turn back eh? Grin

WilsonWilsonWoman · 16/02/2015 09:46
