We did 6 weeks with my parents pre DC, between house moves. That was plenty....

Maybe drugs- lots of drug problems in rural Aberdeenshire.

At least Melbourne has a more similar climate!

If she wants to do medicine she'd be much better off back home. Aberdeen Uni has a very good, free, med school.

They're quite comfortable with staying with people aren't they. 3 weeks with friends on arriving in Australia.
