So are we all still watching, despite the mumbling, bad writing and inaccuracies?

I'm not sure what ClaireGwen is up to, but they've written her to like kinky sex which in telly land means she's a bad un.

Last night's highlight for me was DH's genuine confusion over whether subtitles were for the hearing impaired or vision impaired (he may have had a couple of beers). Also sweaty Lee hammering in fence posts.

As if, series 1 was written and directed by s totally different person, to series 2. Very odd.

What is there left? There is nothing to make another series about? Please don't let it be about the defence's son trial.

Killing Pippa was all Claire's idea. She spoke to Pippa and realised that Pippa thought Lee killed Lisa. So, if Lee was going to get off, they needed to get rid of Pippa. So she drugged Pippa and pointedly let Lee know she would be in a drugged sleep upstairs.

DH made me watch it. Well, mostly i read a book. Dorothy L Sayers 'Strong Poison', a well-written, tightly plotted book with well drawn characters. The bits where I watched Broadchurch were massively disappointing in comparison.

Thank goodness I can turn onto Channel 4 and watch Catastrophe now.

The actors were the only really good thing in this series, and I bet half of them will be gone for series 3. Which will be about the door-opening dog, probably.

yy Lee was just scared and stupid. He could have got off if he had told the rozzers what happened, but he was too scared and stupid. Poor little girlie. I am disappointed in Lee, I was starting to feel sorry for him. in the same way you might feel sorry for a fox with rabies.

So was the cliffhanger the fact Hardy didn't say where he was going?

Please God don't let series 3 be about the lawyer's son's appeal because despite not caring at all about the lawyer I know I'd still watch it because the cast are so good especially Jodie Whittaker.

Overcrowded prisons? Criminals escaping justice? Just send them to Bournemouth, break out a celebratory picnic on the sand where your son's body was found, and way-hey! Everyone's happy .
