Thread number one.

So are we all still watching, despite the mumbling, bad writing and inaccuracies?

I'm not sure what ClaireGwen is up to, but they've written her to like kinky sex which in telly land means she's a bad un.

Last night's highlight for me was DH's genuine confusion over whether subtitles were for the hearing impaired or vision impaired (he may have had a couple of beers). Also sweaty Lee hammering in fence posts.

Has that junior solicitor fella been in something on CBBC?

When does The Missing season 2 start?

Maybe she was hoping lee would answer it so she could strip search him call him in to assist with enquiries.

Having spent a week with only Disney Junior on TV, I actually quite enjoyed this episode of Broad church. It even had the psychic in the credits. (was that significant or just underlining the psychic said Sand brook girl forgave DT?)
I will be Angry if the lawyer has found out about OC's payment to her DSIS because I can be a bit of a slattern but I wouldn't have bank statements from months ago lying in plain view on a kitchen table.
I actually quite liked all the subplots about the lawyers' personal lives this week. Not because I care about them I really don't but because actually everyone's lives in RL are very busy and it's a constant juggling act of personal and professional commitments.
I am so glad DT had his operation and hopefully with his newfound energy he'll manage to shave.

Slight digression, but Dp and I have been watching old episodes of our all time favourite 'the green room'. Must be at least 10 yrs old as im sure we Watched it pre kids.
aaaaaanyway, Olivia Coleman is in it as a harassed working mum. We were in stitches tonight at her forgetting to drop the kids off at school on the way to work.

MmeMorrible · 13/02/2015 22:39

Think you mean 'Green Wing'

rollonthesummer · 13/02/2015 22:54

Deffo Green Wing!!

MadameJulienBaptiste · 14/02/2015 09:12

Gosh I can't even spell it right after an evening spent in front of it!!

AmIthatHot · 16/02/2015 18:41

I'm enjoying this series, although I didn't watch the first.

I enjoyed Ellie having it out with her son, but wondered why he had been allowed to be so rude to her before this.

Can someone explain why he was living with his aunt please

seaoflove · 16/02/2015 19:00

Because he wanted to, simple as that. He was angry with Ellie and wanted nothing to do with her.

Nerf · 16/02/2015 20:53

Yay! Ten minutes and I can get all cross and grumpy!

GratefulHead · 16/02/2015 20:59

Here we go.....let's see what Claire/Gwen is up to this week.

Come to that...Eve Myles has two children....why isn't she a Mumsnetter and why isn't she here giving us some hints?

SabsFabulous · 16/02/2015 20:59

Penultimate episode tonight..

LIZS · 16/02/2015 21:07

Should he be able to walk so far and even dress himself easily so soon after heart surgery

GratefulHead · 16/02/2015 21:09

Still confused by it all but enjoying it. Wondering if Joe Miller is guilty or not.....or if someone else is going to suddenly be in the frame.

LIZS · 16/02/2015 21:10

How come Tom is in the gallery?

Nerf · 16/02/2015 21:12

God she's so shouty, I can't take it seriously.

phonyics · 16/02/2015 21:17

Shock was right about the lawyer sussing out the payment to Ellie's sister. Still got no idea about where this is going, mind.

MadameJulienBaptiste · 16/02/2015 21:18

Ugh how predictable
Like you'd leave evidence of payments around a year later. And if the barrister saw a bank statement then how on earth would it show who a cheque was from? It would maybe show a cheque number and 'cheque payment'.

Nerf · 16/02/2015 21:25

Yeah that, would be hilarious as opposed to a massive no no.

Nerf · 16/02/2015 21:27

This will finish on a 'cliffhanger' not guilty tonight won't it?
Wet Lee was a bloody good idea.

lostoncemore · 16/02/2015 21:28

So Claire and Lee have a violent relationship, still not sure who the main abuser is. Good end speech by Josalyn.

Prelude · 16/02/2015 21:32

If Mark was planning to tell Beth everything, why would he have a motive to kill Danny in order to stop him telling, erm, Beth everything?

Nerf · 16/02/2015 21:40

What did we say?

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 16/02/2015 21:41

Called it.
